From people torturing Koroks to using a scale to discover how heavy Link is, Nintendo’s latestZeldahas been absurdly successful due to the freedom that it offers to players in its open-world experience. Despite being Nintendo’s first $70 game, the newZeldais faring very well financially, too. Thesales ofTears of the Kingdomwere outpacingElden Ring’ssoon after the launch, as the title sold over 10 million copies in only three days, compared to FromSoftware’s new IP, which took three whole weeks to reach 12 million.

Now, one gamer tookZelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s systems to the next level to create and operate the “ultimate DPS drone,” as its creator Ultrababouin calls it. In a clip shared by the player, it’s possible to see the drone in action. It looks like some kind of two-legged metal snake, and it has powerful capabilities, with laser rays and a freezing breath. As soon as Ultrababouin sets this mechanical beast free, it flies toward enemies, slaughtering all of them with as the player watches from afar, making the perfect weapon to wage war in Hyrule while sitting at a comfortable distance.

Most people were very impressed by the design of this killer machine in the comments on the Reddit post, praising the combination of its destructive power with very cool looks. Others took some time to imagine how awesome it would be to actually face this creation. PyukumukuGuts, for instance, joked that the OP made their own temple boss, as this could well be avery challengingTears of the Kingdomboss. Another user called BornLuckiest replied to that, affirming that they would be very happy if the game actually had PvP zones in which battles between these robots could be played out.

SinceTears of the Kingdom’s release, gamers have been very creative at inventing lethal weapons. Last month, oneZeldaplayer created an impressive Zonai laser tank, for instance. While the tank didn’t fly like this powerful drone created by Ultrababouin, it had a full set of powerful lasers that could annihilate enemies with ease, and it moved pretty quickly for a machine with its size.
