A new leak fromYu-Gi-Oh Master Duelhas revealed that a Tier 0 archetype from the physical trading card game will be making its way to the digital client soon. The online platform for Konami’s massively popular trading card game has seen plenty of powerful cards release with huge impacts on the game’s meta. The “Runick” and “Swordsoul” cards have been powerful staples ofMaster Duel’s competitive scene and therecently-introduced “Spright” cardshave dominated the game. Now, a set of cards that caused a Tier 0 meta in the TCG will be added soon.
Released alongside Spright in the physical trading card game, “Tearlaments” quickly became a dominant force in the highest tiers of competitiveYu-Gi-Oh. The cards introduce a powerful strategy revolving around Fusion Summoning, with the Main Deck Monsters Fusion Summoning when they are sent to the Graveyard. The deck saw such overwhelming success in the competitive game that Konami would release a massive banlist, limiting three of the Monsters and banning “Tearlaments Kitkallos.” Now, the dominant deck will make its way intoYu-Gi-Oh Master Duelsoon.
