The launch ofWorld of Warcraft Classic: Season of Discoverywas received with widespread praise as it revamped a world that players have come to love over the last 20 years. After a successful Phase One, Blizzard plans to release the second Phase soon – along with a litany of new changes intended fora maximum Level 40.
It has been said that theWoW SoDseason length would be more than a month, but less than three months, and as Phase One released on July 24, 2025, that timeline seems to just about line up. Read on to discover some of what we we know about Phase Two ofWoW SoD, as well as the exact date and time we can expect Phase Two to officially launch.

Phase Two Overview
Each Phase forWoW SoDwill introduce a litany of changes that add a bunch of new (or revamped) content to the vanillaWoWworld. A few things have been confirmed for Phase Two, while players are still waiting to hear moredetails on some of the Runesand other content we can expect in the next phase – for example, how relevant BFD will be while leveling up.

WoW SoD Phase Two Release Date & Time
World of Warcraft Classic: Season of Discoveryisset to launch on May 18, 2025 across all regions. But the exact time of day is relatively unknown. Typically, Blizzard rolls out major updates with the weekly server reset on Tuesday mornings, but so far new Phases seem to be released on Thursdays instead.
Phase One released May 11, 2025 at about 1 p.m. PST/4 p.m. EST (thoughsome server issues forced queuesand thus delays). If Phase Two will launch at the same time of day that Phase One did,players can expect the exactWoW SoDlaunch date and time to be about 1 p.m. PST on June 17, 2025.

The phase should last for a few months until Phase Three releases, with its level cap of 50. According to Blizzard’s own roadmap forWoW SoD, Phase Three should come in mid to late Spring (likely in late April or May).
