Blizzard announced that it was working with Amazon to deliver Prime Gaming perks earlier this year, and fans did not know what to expect. Some were worried thatBlizzard would lock exclusive cosmeticsfor its subscription-based game behind another subscription. Instead, Blizzard has chosen to re-release a series of old cosmetic helms that had been retired from the in-game shop. Some players are upset that they purchased these cosmetics years ago and are not receiving anything unique, but a lot of players are excited to get their hands on these classic cosmetics they may have missed the first time around.

Returning Transmog Helms in World of Warcraft

Prime Gaming will be offeringthree different cosmetic helms forWorld of Warcraftplayers to claim. These helms are known as The Jewel of the Firelord, The Hood of Hungering Darkness, and The Crown of Eternal Winter. Each is unique and features some cool aesthetics, though right now players can only claim The Jewel of the Firelord. The other two will be available starting later in July and August.

These helms were introduced to theWorld of Warcraftin-game shopback in 2013 for $15 each. In 2018, Blizzard collected all three into the “See You Later Bundle” alongside three companions and three mounts. That bundle was purchasable for only a month before all those cosmetics became unobtainable. Players who had purchased them originally could still use the goods, but new players were not able to gain access to them. That changes with the reintroduction of the helms via Prime Gaming, and the other items in the See You Later Bundle could follow suit.
