The mashup introduces each character by mirroring the show’s intro, giving viewers an idea of what they’re like by seeing them in action. Sho stated that the idea for the parody originated after coming across a fountain inBaldur’s Gate 3as it reminded them of the fountain from theFriendsintro. With there being six Origin Characters as well, it made sense to them to replicate the show’s introduction since there are also six members on theFriendscast.
Much like theFriendsintro, the parody version captures the likeness of theBaldur’s Gate 3Origin Companions. Each introduction shows a cutscene that highlights a character’s personality, and then shows the group interacting with one another. Much like theFriendsintro, the ending shows the group dancing and having a fun time with each other in front of the fountain.
