On Jun 12, 2025,All Elite Wrestlingwill host their annual Revolution pay-per-view. Despite the absence of a few annual matches on the card, a number of the company’s championships will be on the line. A number of the company’s day-one originals and later additions to the brand will compete, and hope to demonstrate their skills to prove they are at the top of the division.
This year, the card forAEW’sRevolution pay-per-view includes a number of matches that will hopefully mark the end of a few lengthy feuds, and allow a few others to take their place. Revolution hasthe potential to birth a fresh startfor many of these competitors, and AEW fans should tune in to see how the company aims to finally tie up some of its current chapters.

The Gunns (c) v. The Acclaimed v. Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett v. Orange Cassidy and Danhausen: AEW World Tag Team Championship
Billy Gunn found himself at the center of a lengthy partnership turned feud between Austin and Colten Gunn and Anthony Bowens and Max Caster of The Acclaimed. This feud became further intense upon The Acclaimed’s nearly 150-day championship reign ending at the hands of The Gunns. Evoking their rematch clause, The Acclaimed has been placed in a difficult situation to reclaim their gold.
To earn their spot, Lethal and Jarrett survived a tag team battle royal after eliminatingTrent Beretta of the Best Friendsto enter the championship match. Orange Cassidy and Danhausen filled in for Beretta and Chuck Taylor who weren’t deemed medically cleared to compete, and outlasted The Butcher and The Blade to earn their spot at Revolution.

Jon Moxley v. Hangman Adam Page
Moxley and Page have become involved in a personal feud. Following a concussion Pagesuffered at Moxley’s handswhere he recounts forgetting his own child’s name, Page has not been able to feel the score with Moxley has been adequately settled. Despite each man scoring victories over the other, neither seems content with the damage the other has caused, and the endless possibilities of detriment to cause to an opponent in a match as dangerous as the Texas Deathmatch, grants these men the perfect opportunity to settle the score once and for all. For Hangman, this may be the match that allows him to finally redeem himself in his own eyes.
Samoa Joe v. Wardlow: AEW TNT Championship
At Full Gear, Joe defeated Powerhouse Hobbs and then-TNT Champion Wardlow to enter his first reign as champion. Joe waslater defeated by Darby Allinbefore reclaiming the gold to enter his second and current reign. Wardlow has now returned for vengeance to regain the championship he was neither pinned nor submitted for. The single’s match between these former tag team partners will certainly be one of the most physical on the card. No matter the outcome, each of these men is likely to embark on new storylines following their match at Revolution.
Chris Jericho v. Ricky Starks
After baiting Jericho into signing a contract to face him at Revolution, Starks appears to have the mental advantage heading into Sunday’s matchup. However, even withthe Jericho Appreciation Societybanned from ringside, the lengths to which Jericho will go to win, cannot be overlooked. Starks will certainly have his hands full as he intends to put this feud to bed once and for all, but he will have to be cautious of keeping a level head after finally getting his hands on the leader of the group who has terrorized him over the past few months. Despite the difficulties he may have to overcome, Starks is likely to come away with the win.
Jamie Hayter v. Saraya v. Ruby Soho: AEW Women’s World Championship
After defeating Toni Storm at Full Gear, Hayter has proven herself as a dominant Women’s World Champion. To continue to exert her dominance, Hayter proposed a triple threat between two women who have had their eyes on the AEW Women’s World Championship since they arrived in AEW. Soho, who arrived in 2021, has competed for both the World Championshipand TBS Championshipbut has been defeated. Saraya, who arrived in AEW back in September, has also had her sights set on championship gold but has become more concerned with the current woman that holds it, and those she surrounds herself with.
Given Hayter’s past with Storm and Soho’s mixed involvement with the ongoing feud between Hayter, Britt Baker, Saraya, and Storm, the outside issuesbetween these women could either cost Hayter the championship or prove to be a distraction that will allow her to continue her reign.

The Elite (c) v. The House of Black: AEW World Trios Championship
After being crowned the inaugural World Trios Champions, The Elite were stripped of their championships followingthe controversial backstage altercation at All Out.Upon their return to action, The Elite faced the then champions, Death Triangle, in a best-of-seven series, where they were ultimately victorious. Now in their second reign as World Trios Champions, The Elite will now compete against The House of Black who aims to capture their first bit of gold in AEW.
It’s difficult to discern who may deserve to wear the gold more, though many would argue that it is well past time for The House of Black to have gold around their waists. Should they continue on their latest track of violent rampages, the trio will certainly prove to be a dominant force for The Elite to overcome.

MJF (c) v. Bryan Danielson: AEW World Championship
After defeating Jon Moxley at Full Gear in November, MJF has become an increasingly domineering figure at the head of the men’s division. After assaultingthen-Blackpool Combat Club leader William Regalshortly after capturing the World Championship, MJF found himself on the radar of the other members of the club, particularly Danielson. Since then, the two men have verbally and physically assaulted one another. To earn this championship match, Danielson was forced to endure and win several grueling matches where his body sustained injury and brutality. In a match where both men have something to prove outside of becoming World Champion, the two will now face off in a 60-minute Iron Man match where the will of each man will be severely tested.
AEW Revolutionwill be live from the Chase Center in San Francisco, California, on July 16, 2025.
