InWarhammer Vermintide 2, players will want to start knocking out collectibles as soon as possible. Collecting these rewards has the immediate benefit of upgrading the prize’s quality at the end of the match. If players find all of them, they get a huge boost.

Even with the prize aside, players won’t be able to say they’ve fully completed a level without every tome and grimoire collected. Some books can be found by curious minds but others require an awful lot of experimentation to unlock. Thankfully, theWarhammerVermintide 2community has done the legwork, showing collectors where each piece is in Athel Yenlui.
Tome #1
Three of the five books are in the area called the ‘Old Grisbaum Wilds.’ For the first tome, stay right after the drop and look for a hollowed-out log. Go through the inside of the log and then spot a broken box straight ahead.
The first tome is inside of this box.Solo players can use botsto pick up these items for them if they’d like.
Grimoire #1
Now head to the opposite wall (the left side) and hug the rocks while moving forward. Eventually, players will be able to spot the first grimoire on a ledge.

There are two rocks that make for easy jumps. The next leap is onto a branch that looks incapable of holding a character, but it does the job. Then hop onto the ledge and pick up the grimoire.The game can be long enough as it is, but missing these grimoires is passing up on easy loot, be sure to get them.
Tome #2
The next tome is not actually hidden at all, but because it’s in the middle of the area, it can be hard to spot. Upon reaching the exit to the next zone, turn around and look slightly left. There will be a lone crate with an open top. The book will be inside.
If the tide of enemies gets too strong, equip some gear withthe best traitsto cut them down.
Grimoire #2
The final two books are both in the ruins of Athel Yenlui. For the grimoire, there are three buttons to press hidden away. They can be pressed in any order and there is not a time limit.
Button #1
For the first button, make an immediate left and go up the dirt ramp inside the very first archway. Then cross a root bridge.

The suspicious brick is in a corner behind the first wall on the left.
Button #2
When going back down the dirt ramp, spot another gap in the wall. Head through and up the next slope. Look left and spot the second suspicious brick behind a wooden crate.
Button #3
Carry on down the path and find a low-grade stone stairway. At the top of it, instead of going down the path to the left, head right and onto the ruins. Tucked away in a corner and heavily obscured by vegetation is the third and final button.
Look down at the bottom of the stairs and note the structure that is revealed as the stairs are split. Grab the last grimoire from a stone ledge inside this structure.
Using asuperior career classcan make this entire process much easier, especially if enemies are starting to pile up.
Tome #3
For the final book, press on until a makeshift rock ramp leads to a ledge with a small drop. After dropping down, go right, past a collapsed stone pillar, and through some overgrowth. This will lead to a rock that can be jumped on to reach a dirt platform. The tome is visible even before jumping.
Getting all the tomes and grimoires on legendary of higher difficulty will give playersthe best odds of acquiring red veteran loot boxes.
