While Rayshii made sure to clarify that it wasn’t due to the negative experience she’d faced in her recent stream, the VTuber has since confirmed she’ll be going on a hiatus from full-time streaming. The hiatus will begin October 1, meaning Rayshii plans to continue her streaming schedule for the remainder of September. The decision to go on hiatus was made before herDuolingo language stream, and the hiatus announcement coinciding was described as “unfortunate timing.”
In explanation for the hiatus, Rayshii said that her schedule simply no longer allowed her to produce streaming content as frequently as she would like. That’s because Rayshii is juggling her content creation schedule with separate work and school schedules. Additionally, Rayshii says that she’d like to “take a step back and focus on myself for a while.”
During Rayshii’s hiatus, she plans to continue creating content and streaming at her own pace. She says she’ll still be posting toTikTok and YouTube Shorts, making song covers, and providing long-form content semi-regularly. Streaming will be less frequent and will no longer be scheduled in advance. Rayshii says she’ll also deliver the content she’s previously promised, like her 4.0 VTuber model.
A good portion of Rayshii’s hiatus announcement is dedicated to thanking those within her community. She says that she has “grown so much in many ways” over her years as a VTuber,Twitch and YouTube streamer, and content creator, and she thanks her fans and friends for that. She’s proud of what she’s accomplished together with her community, and treasures all the memories made along the way. She reassured her fans onTwitchand elsewhere that “this is not the end” before ending the message saying, “From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything.”
