The series will end after 28 episodes and will be releasing the last two episodes simultaneously. Soon after, a game for PlayStation 2 port was developed with the titleUtawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen. The anime directed by Kenichi Kawamura began in July and will be ending with anexciting finale full of twists and turns. Last month, the official website of the anime announced that the final arc will begin from the 19th episode along with releasing key visuals and trailer in preparation for the series finale. The double episode finale will be simultaneously aired on Jun 19, 2025. With the anime ending in less than a month’s time, fans are gearing up for the mystical fantasy finale with the character designs made by Masahiko Nakada and series composition by Itsuki Yokoyama.
The last two episodes will revolve around the restoration of peace since the empire is now ruled by acontrolling and treacherous villainof the series, the general.
