The annual Streamy Awards included the likes of manyTwitchstreamers such as the frequent stat leader Felix “xQc” Lengyel, who ordered Uber Eats at some point during the show. This year’s Streamy Awards were the twelfth occasion of the event held annually by Dick Clark Productions and Tubefilter, and given his relevance to the medium, manyTwitchfans tuned in to the event to see if xQc would take home any awards.During the December 4 Streamy Awards, xQc ordered Shake Shack burgers through Uber Eats as awards continued to be handed out to other content creators. Uber Eats is frequently used byxQc who recently cleaned his Twitch PC setupwhich was full of half-empty food containers from the delivery service among packaging from Coca-Cola, Starbucks, and other readily available products. Hinting that the snacks weren’t enough to satiate his hunger at the Streamy Awards, xQc clarified that even a small plate with “mini pie-shaped deserts” didn’t hit the spot because he was “ready for the main course.” Due to a need for more food, xQc ordered eight burgers from Shake Shack through Uber Eats to the Beverley Hilton, and offered any extras that he had to other content creators at his table.
Because the Streamy Awards' snacks were insufficient for xQc, the popular Twitch streamer may have shown up to the event with more of an appetite than the organizers expected. Just as he won the award for the Just Chatting Streamy, xQc was reacting to HasanAbi criticizing his choice for food at the event in the same category of Twitch. HasanAbi suggested that xQc wasn’t eating all the food he ordered at the Streamy Awards, to which theformerOverwatchLeague prostated that he and the others at his table finished the bag of eight burgers before the event concluded.
While some live Twitch viewers in xQc’s chat during the explanation were expressing that he failed during the Streamy Awards and took HasanAbi’s side, others replied with various laughing emotes. Although somepopular Twitch streamers like HasanAbimay have been bothered by xQc ordering Shake Shack during the Streamy Awards, members of his audience are bewildered instead of surprised.
