Twitchstreamer Forsen reveals that he turned down a deal that would have seen him move to Mixer. Forsen told viewers about the deal the same day that timthetatman, LIRIK, and DrLupo all announced theirTwitch exclusivity deals, which will keep them on the live streaming site for several years.
In aTwitchstream yesterday, Forsen responded to a fan question about a potential move to Mixer. The streamer, who has 1,182,454 followers on the site, said, “I had an offer, but I declined.” Forsen, who streams games such asCounter-Strike: Global Offensive,Halo: Reach, andHearthstone, also joked that he may have to “reconsider” the offer. Rumors say thatFortnitestreamer Ninja was offered millions to move to Mixer, and it may be that Forsen wants a multi-million dollar deal on the table before thinking about leaving Twitch.

Forsen answered another question from a viewer wanting to know when Mixer made the offer. The Twitch streamer didn’t answer that, but he did tell viewers to imagine what Twitch would be like without him and his fans. He said, “if this channel never existed, you would still be spamming Poggers and TikTok memes,” and there would also be no PepeLaugh emote. Forsen also said that “creating trends” on Twitch is “never a bad thing,” suggesting that this is another reason why he turned down Mixer’s offer.
Twitch will surely be delighted that Forsen is committed to the site and isn’t thinking about a move to Mixer, or anywhere else. There are rumors that the site had to spend millions of dollars onDrLupo, timthetatman, and LIRIK’s exclusivity deals, and while parent company Amazon has more than a few dollars, it would probably prefer not to have to spend so much. Forsen may have joked about reconsidering that Mixer deal, but Twitch probably doesn’t have to worry about him.
However, Forsen is only one streamer, and his position says very little about other Twitch stars' potential moves to Mixer.FortnitestreamerFaZe Ewok has just moved to Mixer, and names like shroud and King Gothalion have also moved to the site. Additionally, other popular Twitch streamers have moved to YouTube and Facebook Gaming.
There are also suggestions that streamers likeCorinna Kopf, who was recently banned by Twitch temporarily, could move. Certainly, Ninja’s move to Mixer seems to have opened the doors for streamers to sign deals and move where they want to go, and that could be an issue forTwitch.
