Medallions are powerful objects inThe Rogue Prince of Persiathat give you a range of special abilities. You can only slot a maximum of four medallions in each run, but combining their different perks and bonuses is the way to create the best builds in the game.
Keep in mind thatThe Rogue Prince of Persiafeaturesperma-death because of its rogue-lite nature, so equipping the right medallions goes a long way in clearing the toughest areas. While RNG decides what medallions spawn in each run, you get to pick from dozens of options that improve combat, damage, utility, mobility, etc.

How to Unlock All Medallions in the Rogue Prince of Persia
There are 30 medallions to collectwith more to come by the timeThe Rogue Prince of Persialeaves early access on Steam. Some of them are available from the beginning of the game, while others need to be unlocked through either crafting or equipment chests.
Paachi is a medallion vendor, who becomes available in the Oasis after you die a few times. Once you havefarmed enough Spirit Glimmer, visit Paachi’s tent to craft and unlock new medallions.

Unlocking a medallion (or any item) in the Oasis does not mean you will automatically have it equipped on the next run. Any medallions you craft inThe Rogue Prince of Persiaare added to the loot pool for all subsequent runs, meaning you only have a chance of randomly getting any medallions from the updated pool.
Finally, some medallions can only be found inside equipment chests. These also contain weapons, tools, and gold, and are usuallyhidden inside golden doorways. Each area will only have one equipment chest, so make sure to find it before entering the next biome.

Once you have found an equipment chest-exclusive medallion, you can visit Paachi’s tent to craft and add it to your loot pool.
List of All Medallions and What They Do
Paachi’s tent allows you to read about every medallion unlocked inThe Rogue Prince of Persia. This is important for two reasons. Firstly, you get to know what each medallion does and its attributes. For example, if you are interested in a poison build, you will want to know which medallions release poisonous clouds.
Secondly, and most importantly, you get to know their slot upgrades. InThe Rogue Prince of Persia, medallions only grant bonus stats if they fulfill their slot requirements. For example, in the image above, Toxic Demise has a level two upgrade, so it needs to be placed in a slot that has been upgraded twice to unlock its bonus effect.
There are no sequential upgrades, such as bonus effects unlocked at levels 1, 2, and 3. Some medallions may require a level three slot straight away, so it is always helpful to spend some time at Paachi’s tent to learn about the new medallions you just unlocked.
