Just like inBreath of the Wild, there are many shrines for players to discover as they explore Hyrule inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. In fact,there are over 150 shrinesin this highly anticipated sequel. Despite there being so many shrines, each one feels unique and presents its own challenge forTears of the Kingdomplayers to overcome.
Sometimes some of that challenge lies simplyin finding the shrines, as some are better hidden than others. Even on the surface of Hyrule, there are shrines that are easily concealed by the environment. The Ren-iz Shrine is a good example of that, and it can easily be missed by players. This walkthrough will show players where to find the Ren-iz Shrine, along with how to complete it.

Where to Find the Ren-iz Shrine
The Ren-iz Shrine is concealed within the remains of an old, hollow tree stump up in the Crenel Hills.The exact coordinates for the entrance to the Ren-iz Shrine are 0755, 0824, 0082.Once players have unlocked the shrine,fast travel will allowthem to come back to this area quickly if they ever need to do so.
Ren-iz Shrine Walkthrough
Upon entering the shrine, the first thing players will want to do ismake sure that they have Ultrahand equippedand ready. In the middle of the room is a switch that causes a ball to fall from the ceiling. Before using the switch,use Ultrahand to pick upthe nearby platform andplace it at an angle as depicted by the image above. This will create a ramp for the ball.
Next,use the switch to launch a ball off of the rampand into a metal basket on the other side of the room. This will open the door to the next chamber. In the next room, there is a large platform and a small platform that can be picked up and combined.
After combining the two platforms, take them to the right side of the room and use them to form a bridge. Cross the bridge and open the chest to receive aStrong Zonaite Shield. Pick up the combined platforms and pull them back.
Return to the first room and grab the large platform. Take it into the second room and combine it with the other platform.Put the large platform at a 45-degree angle to form a ramp. Strike the switch to launch a ball. If the two platforms are positioned correctly, the ball will fly up and into the metal basket on the other side of the room. If it doesn’t, adjust the posltion of the platform until the ball goes into the basket. Eventually the ball will settle in the basket and the door to the altar will open.
