Summary
Palworldis a popular open-world, survival, creature collector which allows players to tame the loveable inhabitants of its world (called ‘Pals’) to farm resources and create unique bases. While creating the home of their dreams, players traverse the various islands ofPalworld’smap, trying to find useful Pals and materials to aid them on their adventure. Throughout the world, players may encounter a ‘Wandering Merchant’, NPCswho buy and sell items for Gold Coins. These traders offer helpful items for both low-level and high-level players, which can make the monster-catching gameplay loop that much easier.
This guide provides the information on where to find the correct coated man and what to buy from him. Players may then decide on whether they should keep coming back to the trader, or lock them up in a Palshpere to make them their sole consumer.

10Makeshift Handgun
Quickly Pack A Punch
The Weapon Workbench required to make the more advanced damage-dealing equipment is unlockable from the research tab at level 20. Crafting such weapons will not be an easy feat with players needing a myriad of materials to acquire top-level firepower.
If players want to engage in gun warfare at lower levels then they will want to seek out Green Coat Merchants. The Makeshift Handgun comes directly from the Fisherman’s Point Green Coat Merchant, though be forewarned, players will need a lot of gold.

9Red Berries
Feed Hungry Workers
Whilst berry farms are one of the first things unlockable for bases in Pal World, many veteran late-game players will be looking to maximize production. This can be done by not having their Pals spend time tending to a farm.
By buying Red Berries with Gold Coins from the Small Settlement Red Coated Merchant, players not only save their Pals farming time but also free up space to add inPals with other work suitabilityas farming is no longer required. Players should keep in mind that berries will need to be bought in bulk to sustain bases with lots of Pals working in them.

8Flame Organ
Minimize Grind, Maximize Flamethrower
Needed to craft fire-resistant clothing, fire bows, fire arrows, and Pal Gear such as the Foxpark’s Harness, players may end up spending significant amounts of time traipsing through Pal World’s map to capture ordefeat specific Pals like Foxparkswho drop Flame Organs.
Luckily, for players who want to save themselves the grind or are just a few Flame Organs away from having the right materials, the Small Settlement Red Coat Merchant is willing to part with some for 100 Gold Coins a piece.

7Monarch’s Crown Schematic
Fashion Is Just As Important
Palworldis, at its core, a survival multiplayer game. To some players, an integral aspect of these games is equippingunique and cool cosmetic headgearwhich they can show off around the server.
Some Wandering Merchants inPalworldsell hat schematics, including the Small Settlement Red Coat Merchant and the Duneshelter Green Coat Merchant, though to acquire the height of fashion in the Monarch’s Crown players will need to seek out the Fisherman’s Point Green Coat Merchant. Due to its regal appearance and its effects being only for those who ‘possess a high ranking’, players wearing this cosmetic item should truly believe they have made it.

6Heat Resistant Pelt Armor
When Sunscreen Is Scarce
To find unique Pals and gather the important materials thatPalworldhas to offer, players will find themselves traversing through the desert, filled with a host of different dangers, with the largest being the weather. If low-level players who haven’t unlocked Heat Resistant Pelt Armor at level 16 are still willing to take on the sand challenge, they should seek out the Fisherman’s Point Green Coat Merchant.
The Duneshelter Green Coat Merchant also sells this item, though because Duneshelter itself is located in the desert, players may find it difficult to get there without going to Fisherman’s Point first. It should also be mentioned that heat resistance will only help during the day in the desert. Players will need cold resistant armor to traverse at night.

5Fire Skill Fruit: Flare Storm
Coverage To Spice Up Movesets
Much like the game it is constantly compared to in Pokemon, Palworld also has typings and movesets. With Pals leveling up alongside the player, they also learn new moves to add to their arsenal, which makes them better fighters. Another way to teach Pals new tricks is through the use ofSkill Fruits, which contain unique movesplayers can then teach to a Pal of their choice.
Whilst the Duneshelter Red Coat Merchant also sells Skill Fruits, to get Flare Storm players will need to trade with the Fisherman’s Point Red Coat Merchant. Boasting 80 power on an 18-second cooldown, these twin fire tornados are sure to be an asset to any Pal’s pool of moves.

4Bone
Cementing Late Game Items
To capture the most powerful Pals in Palworld, players will need to research the upper echelons of Palspheres such as Hyper or Legendary Spheres. These spheres, along with late-game structures all need cement and to make cement, a player will have to scavenge for bones.
If a player would rather spend their time elsewhere rather than making Rushoars and Vixys into endangered species, they will want to find a Red Coat Merchant. Luckily, any Red Coat Merchant should have the required bones rotating in their stock.

3Leather
When The Cows Aren’t Home
Though just a common item and easily obtainable from a number of Pals, players may still keep finding themselves running out of leather. With it being in therecipes for most armor and saddles for mounts, players may have to start hunting Foxparks and Direhowl for their precious pelts.
Luckily, there is another option. Every Red Coat Merchant should have Leather sold in their ever-rotating inventory, meaning players won’t have to grind for it if they have the Gold Coins.

2Medical Supplies
To Keep The Doctors Away
Anyone who gets to the late stages ofPalworldwill know that out of any items in the game, medicine is the most resource and crafting intensive. Not to mention the fact players need a specific Pal with the Medicine work suitability to make any in the first place.
Players who would rather avoid the hassle and instead look for a more instantaneous way to get their Pals off sick leave should seek out any Red Coat Merchant. Chances are they will have low grade, high grade, or regular Medical Supplies.

1Ammo
No One Outruns Bullet
One of the big selling points of Palworld is its twist on the creature-collecting genre, as players get to shoot the creatures they’re collecting themselves. Whilst guns are resource intensive too, players may actually find themselves spending more making ammo than shooting it.
If players don’t want every one of their Weapon Workbenches working on ammo at any given time, they should find Green Coat Merchants who sell every ammo type bar Rocket Ammo in the game.
