Summary
While players inDestiny 2may be interested indealing boss damage with their builds, add-clear is arguably just as important. Staying on top of enemies, especially in enemy-dense activities, is vital for a fireteam’s success, as at higher difficulties, it is very easy to become swarmed with adds.
Players can also use these builds to succeed in solo challenges, like solo flawless dungeon runs, as they can all be used by a single player, and don’t require any teammates to work. However, these builds will definitely be enhanced by multiple players running them to take advantage of build-specific buffs.

8Arc Soul Warlock
Summon Your Souls To Help With Add Clear
One of the main tools that Stormcallers have at their disposal is their ability to summon Arc Souls. These little buddies constantly fire off Arc projectiles at enemies and typically favor the foes that the player is firing at. Of course, the Arc Soul Aspect can be used ina general Stormcaller buildwith exotics like Fallen Sunstar.
This build is not only decent for add clear, as the Arc Souls provide bonus damage, and Arc Grenades cause constant Jolt with certain Fragments, but it can also be used to enhance boss damage. Arc Souls can be granted to teammates, and if a damage phase is long enough, six Arc Souls firing constantly can sometimes outpace a DPS super like Needlestorm.

7Gyrfalcon Nightstalker
Volatile Void Hunter Gives Good Survivability And Excellent Add Clear
Gyrfalcon’s Hauberk ispretty simple to obtain, but it is remarkably powerful. This exotic alone essentially functions as the build, but when combined with the Stylish Executioner Aspect, the build becomes truly unstoppable. Volatile is a potent debuff as the explosions deal AoE (area of effect) damage to nearby enemies.
Pairing an excellent Void weapon, such as Graviton Lance, with this setup further enhances it. Constant void explosions combined with the ability to delve in and out of Invisibility are nothing to scoff at and are incredibly fun to use.

6Contraverse Hold Voidwalker
Powerful Grenades Can Deal Some Serious Damage
Voidwalkers have always been focused on grenades and abilities, with most oftheir Aspects being centered on abilitiesmore than gunplay. Due to this, Contraverse Hold is an excellent pick as it allows players to enhance their grenades with bonus effects.
When combined with Chaos Accelerant, players can charge their grenades to make them more effective. It is recommended that Voidwalkers choose Vortex Grenades, as they will return plenty of grenade energy through Contraverse Hold, essentially allowing players to spam Vortex Grenades at enemies from a safe distance, making this an excellent build for challenging content.

5Abyeant Leap Berserker
Constant Suspension Mixed With High Damage Melees
Strand Titans are mostly known for their incredible damage with Banner of War and Wormgod Caress, but there are otherbuilds available on Berserker. Using the Drengr’s Lash Aspect and Banner of War Aspect, Titans can suspend the battlefield while dealing solid melee damage with some healing.
Alternatively, players can opt for Into the Fray for Woven Mail, but if Thread of Warding or The Navigator Exotic Trace Rifle is used, then players can enjoy the incredibly high damage of Banner of War combined with the survivability of Woven Mail.

4Sunbreaker Synthoceps
Constantly Throwing Your Hammer For Incredible Survivability
While the Throwing Hammer on Titan may have been nerfed, the build overall is still incredible for general play. Using Synthoceps (or Loreley Splendor Helm) combined with the Throwing Hammer melee ability and the Ember of Empyrean Aspect, Sunbreakers become very hard to kill.
The Throwing Hammer will also begin to deal remarkable damage, with Synthoceps and Roaring Flames being active. On top of this, players canpair a Solar Weapon to enhance the Solar Synergyof the build further, making this a tanky, survivable, and powerful build.

3Broodweaver’s Trance
Suspension And Poison Combined With Unraveling Controls The Fight Excellently
Strand Warlock has many tricks up its sleeve and aplethora of builds availablefor players to enjoy. However, one build comes above the rest. When using the Weaver’s Trance Aspect with a Shackle Grenade, players can easily Suspend waves upon waves of enemies.
This build only gets better when combined with Osteo Striga, too, as the poison effect synergizes wonderfully with the build and spreads the Suspending effects even further. While the abilities in this subclass won’t deal too much damage, players can count on excellent crowd control and damage from their weapon to handle a ton of adds.

2Assassin’s Cowl Arc Hunter
Chaining Lightning, Melees, And Invisibility Is Incredible For Add Clear
Arc Hunters have typically only ever had onebuild type in their arsenal, and that is melee-focused builds. Previously, players opted for Liar’s Handshake, but now, Assassin’s Cowl is the preferred pick for most Hunters as it is much more survivable without costing too much damage.
Combining this Exotic with Combination Blow, Gambler’s Dodge, Lethal Current, and Flow State allows Arcstriders to deal remarkably high damage with their melees, while also chaining lightning to nearby enemies. All this whilst also receiving a solid chunk of health and Invisibility on a powered melee kill.

1Sunbracers Spam
Constant Solar Grenades And Healing Is Impossible To Beat
Solar Warlocks can basically runwhatever build they want, given how strong the entire Daybreak subclass is, but one build that every Solar Warlock should at least try is combining Sunbracers with Heat Rises and either Touch of Flame or Icarus Dash.
This setup essentially allows Daybreak users to fly in the air while spamming constant Solar Grenades, all while receiving Restoration from Ember of Empyrean and Cure from Ember of Resolve. It goes without saying that this setup is incredibly powerful, and Warlocks should take advantage of it wherever possible.
