AStardew Valleyplayer has shared the apothecary they designed. The shop uses items from the recentStardew Valley1.6 update, and the design has charmed fellow players.

Stardew Valleyplayers are a creative bunch. WhileStardew Valleyhas less of an emphasis on creating and designing than titles likeMinecraft, that doesn’t stop fans from customizing their farms and buildings to be their very own. Fans have built shops, spas, hideaways, and all kinds of things in sheds on their farms, plus a number of unique builds inside their own farmhouses. With the release of theStardew Valley1.6 update, even more items have been added to the game for players to use in their dream builds.

Stardew Valleyplayer RylieSensei shared their new apothecary on Reddit with fellow fans. The small room is stuffed full of plants, including trees and flower pots growing crops, collectibles, and decorations that complete the look of an apothecary shop. New items like the Crystal Ball, Cauldron, and Wizard’s Fireplace helped to make the build look appropriately spooky and magical. The green smoke rising from the cauldron and the cats nestled into the corner complete the look.

Praise for Stardew Valley Player Creativity

FellowStardew Valleyfans in the comments were quite positive and receptive to the unique apothecary. Several were impressed with the overall design, while others expressed interest in where RylieSensei had acquired some of the items in the room. Others responded by explaining that the1.6Stardew Valleyupdate added a Wizard Cataloguethat contains many of the items that the player used to decorate the apothecary. Like the furniture catalogue, players can freely access any item that’s listed in the catalogue in whatever quantity they wish.

Other players joked that the OP needed more cats in the room. RylieSensei was amused, noting that they’d already adopted all the cat varieties available in the game, but would double the number in response. This would have once required mods, but the 1.6 update added the ability to adopt additional pets on a player’s farm. Some players have gathered anabsurd number of cats on theirStardew Valleyfarms, so there’s definitely room for more in this build.

It remains to be seen ifStardew Valleywill receive any more major updates at this point. While 1.6 may be the last major content release, developer ConcernedApe has changed his mind in the past, resuming updates on the game despiteHaunted Chocolatierbeing in development. While 1.6 has plenty for fans to enjoy, only the developer knows what - if anything - is next forStardew Valley.
