Rey’s lightsaber is an interesting one, as it seems a strong homage to her scrapper days. Now,Star WarsJedi: Survivorcan recreate this scrapyard lightsaber befitting Rey, complete with even the yellow Kyber crystal.Star WarsJedi: Survivorgives players the freedom to create this iconic lightsaber.

Yellow Kyber Crystal

The biggest surprise from theStar Warssequels was not just that Rey was a Palpatine, but the fact that her unique lightsaber held a yellow Kyber crystal. This was the first time in the franchise that a live-action yellow lightsaber had been shown, and it’s color due to being asiconic as Mace Windu’s purple lightsaber.

Players can equip the yellow Kyber crystal to turn their lightsaber into a yellow blade without difficulties. As soon as players find their first workbench, they will have the yellow Kyber crystal and many other lightsaber colors available to them.

Edgehawk Emitter

The first piece of the puzzle for players to make Rey’s lightsaber inStar WarsJedi: Survivoris to find the Edgehawk Emitter. The Edgehawk Emitter, as well as otherpieces of the Edgehawk lightsaberset, can be found on Koboh, where players will explore the Water Treatment Works area in Southern Reach.

The Edgehawk Emitter is a near-perfect replication of Rey’s emitter. Although the Edgehawk may be more pointy than the normal version, the fact that the sharp edges line up to guard the entry point of the blade makes it resemble Rey’s lightsaber better than other pieces.

Edgehawk Switch

The Edgehawk Switch is also found in the Water Treatment Works area, and it will provide players with a Switch that looks close enough to Rey’s. Players may be able to see the beginnings of thiselegant Jedi weaponas they pair together the two pieces of scrap to form the Emitter and the Switch pieces.

The Edgehawk Switch has those harsh edges sticking out from the sides that truly benefit from being a part of Rey’s lightsaber. They look the part, and closely resemble the official design of Rey’s lightsaber. Players might notice that the Grip and Switch pieces are in the wrong place, but that cannot be helped.

Cere Junda Grip

The Cere Junda lightsaber isfound in a golden chestjust aftera certain fight with a Sith Lordon Jedah. Players can find this lightsaber in the Jedah Hanger close to the Archives, and then they will want to take the pieces to the workbench and use the Cere Junda Grip piece to bring Rey’s lightsaber into the game.

cere junda grip

Cere Junda’s Grip is a distinct style for Rey’s lightsaber due to the strips of fabric that wrap around the handle. There are two Grips with wraps as the style, but Cere Junda’s Grip is the closest to resembling Rey’s very own lightsaber.

Edgehawk Pommel

For players needing the Edgehawk Pommel, they are going to want to start their search in Rambler’s Ranch. The Edgehawk Pommel is located above the hanger that holds the Stinging Mantis, and it’s a vital piece to complete the parts needed to create Rey’s lightsaber inStar WarsJedi: Survivor.

The final piece to complete the necessary parts for Rey’s lightsaber is the Edgehawk Pommel for a reason. This piece closely resembles the Pommel of Rey’s very own saber, especially with the sharp points and how it curves inwards. It’s theperfect weapon for battling the Sith.

Dark Iron Material Primary, Secondary, And Accent

Players must pick up the Coated Metal Weapon Material set from the Flooded Bunker area on Koboh. Inside this set, players can find the Dark Iron Material, which is a great material to use onthe entire lightsaber hilt.

Players will want to pick Dark Iron for the Primary, Secondary, and Accent parts of the lightsaber. This is because Rey’s lightsaber is all one solid color, and it has a nice carbon black design, with some worn elements to avoid the metal having a distinct polish.

Tan Cloth Grip

When players use Cere Junda’s Grip, they will be voiding their option to use different Grip materials. However, players will be given a unique choice of Fabric colors, and it’s best to choose the Tan Cloth material that best suits the fabric that covers Rey’s very own lightsaber Grip.

By making the Grip a Tan color for their Cloth, players are creating a distinct visual style on their lightsaber, a sandy and worn set of wraps that pair well against the harsh worn black metals of Rey’s lightsaber. Once players have placed this material on the Grip, players are welcome toswing around their new Rey lightsaber, decades before the character took the fight to the First Order.
