Video game bugs can be a real bother when trying to have fun and enjoy the experience. Game breaking glitches, lost saves, or even visual bugs can often ruin a game, or at least drastically negatively affect the enjoyment. Sometimes, however, ahilarious game bugcomes around that creates laughs instead of annoyance. That seems to be the case withSpider-Man: Miles Moralesand a very comical bug that one player was able to find.

Spider-Man: Miles Moralesis polishedand focused, but it’s hard to find any video game that is technically perfect, as glitches and issues are very difficult to completely avoid, especially in open-world 3D-type games.Spider-Man: Miles Moralesis no exception, as one bug was discovered that changes Miles into a street lamp, and it is extremely funny.

YouTuber Zet Q uploaded a video ofSpider-Man: Miles Morales. It starts out rather mundane and normal, as Miles is finishing up a quest. However, as soon as the mission ends and the game loads back into the downtown streets of NYC, it is revealed that Miles is now a lamp, a Spider-Lamp.

The quick scene shows citizens of NYC thanking Spider-Man for all of his help. But instead of being Miles Morales under a mask, he is a 10-foot tall street lamp. The scene shows some ofwhat makes Miles Morales so special, including his connection with Harlem and his diverse ethnic background. But when Spider-Man is a lamp, it comes across as comical instead of heartwarming. The barber tells Spider-Lamp that he will gladly cut his hair at any time. Meanwhile, Spider-Lamp is reminded that he is a growing boy and that he is welcome to stop by the restaurant for food at any point. All of this is sweet for Miles, but as Spider-Lamp it’s undeniably funny.

The icing on the cake in this video is when Spider-Lamp starts swinging through the city.Spider-Man: Miles Moralesis a trimmed down open-worldexperience, and it is wonderfully designed. Part of the fun is the freedom of swinging through NYC. Doing so as a lamp, with Miles' voice coming out of the street lamp, is great.

Insomniac Games has had a lot of fun with the suits inSpider-Man: Miles Morales, as they created one for theSpider-Man: Into the Spider-Verseanimated film that matches both its look and feel. Additionally, after creating a sidequest to return a cat, the developer decided to make acat sidekick suit for Milesthat many fans adore. Perhaps, after watching how funny it is to see a lamp post swing through New York City, Insomniac Games will patch the bug but add a Spider-Lamp suit to the game.

Spider-Man: Miles Moralesis available now on PS4 and PS5.
