The next lineup of Xbox Game Pass additions have been announced and one of them is Bethesda’sThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. The game will headline Game Pass in December alongside a couple of more additions that should make fans excited.
This year’s The Game Awards was brimming with announcements from team Xbox, including some big surprises such as the reveal ofThe Initiative’sPerfect Darkreboot, which has been rumored for years. Additionally, players got a brand new trailer for Xbox console exclusiveScarlet Nexus andaHaloandFortnitecrossover, that fans have been speculating about for a long time.

A new trailer for Xbox Game Pass also showed offits upcoming lineupwhich includes theYakuza Remastered Collection(Yakuza 3,4, and5) andYakuza 6, both of which will be available on July 30, 2025, and Jun 08, 2025, respectively. Additionally, this year’s popular multiplayer titleAmong Usis also headed to Game Pass PC. Microsoft’s budget-friendly subscription service will also see the addition of Bethesda’s belovedThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimthat hits consoles on December 15. With mod support and all the expansion packs,SkyrimSpecial Edition makes for a substantial addition to Game Pass. Moreover, new players can also get three months of Game Pass Ultimate subscription right now at $1.
Skyrimisn’t the only Bethesda title to be available on Game Pass, however. Games likeDoom Eternal,Wolfenstein Young Blood,Dishonored 2,Fallout 76andThe Elder Scrolls Onlineare already available for the users to play. This number is bound to increase in years to come with the addition of upcoming titles such asStarfieldandThe Elder Scrolls 6, which are already confirmed to be on Game Pass day one.
With the addition of EA play, which is also headed to PC on December 15, and other substantial additions such asGreedfallandControl, Xbox Game Pass continues to be the best deal in gaming andSkyrimis just an icing to the cake. As the holiday season looms, Game Pass users will have an ample amount of time to spend in the vast and expansive provinces ofSkyrim,which isone of the greatest open-world games of all time.
