Things are certainly heating up for Jennifer Walters asShe-Hulknears the end of its run. With only one episode left, fans are anxiously waiting to see how the rest of her story plays out. Marvel has yet to confirm ifShe-Hulkwill be given a second season; however, it’s highly unlikely that Jen’s time in the MCU will end once the series draws to a close.
Jen struck up an interesting relationship with Matt Murdock this week, and episode 8 is one ofthe best episodesfrom the entire show. Full of MCU references, new friends, old foes, and a cliffhanger that has everyone excited about the finale, here’s every Easter eggShe-Hulkhas to offer from episode 8.

Leap-Frog
Vincent Patilio, AKA Leap-Frog, was a Daredevil villain in Marvel Comics and has joined the list of absurd and obscure characters to make their way into theShe-Hulkseries. However, Vincent’s son Eugene picked up the mantle in the show. All fans know about Vincent is that he’s a high profile client at the GLK&H law firm.
Given that Eugene took a beating from his own lawyer, he’ll probably stir up more trouble at some point in the future in an attempt to get revenge. Jen told him that she was doing it for his own good; however, a guy like Eugene likely won’t take kindly to being upstaged in his own super villain lair.

Daredevil Is Here
Matt Murdock’s long-awaitedShe-Hulkcameo finally happened in this week’s episode, and it was better than fans could have ever hoped for. Not only didDaredevil make a comebackin the courtroom, he also dove back into the crime-fighting action and teamed up with Jen to help her save their designer Luke Jacobson.
He brought a few Phase 3 references with him as well, bringing up the Sokovia Accords, which were the main source of conflict inCaptain America: Civil War.Evidently, he’s been keeping up with all the latest superhero drama, even though fans haven’t seen him get in on the action since his Netflix series concluded in 2018.

Wakanda Forever
Jen’s terrible date Toddfrom episode 4is back yet again, this time to spread cultural insensitivity and waste She-Hulk’s time. Todd tries to dazzle Jen by telling her he bought an authentic Wakandan spear for a million dollars, showing that superhero gear is still managing to find itself in the wrong hands.
Kate Bishop dealt with this inHawkeyewhen she stumbled upon a secret auction selling the Ronin suit and sword, and apparently the problem still persists. Todd then chanted the iconic “Wakanda forever” phrase while making an ‘X’ with his arms over his chest, which felt odd and uncomfortable coming from someone like him. Jen wasn’t impressed in the slightest, and neither were fans, but it was at least nice to hear that Wakanda still has a prominent influence in the MCU.

Comic Accurate Suits
Jen finally showed off her comic accurate She-Hulk super suit this week alongside Daredevil in the infamous yellow suit that popped up as anEaster egg in episode 5. This was the first time fans got to see both suits in their full glory, which was fitting for an episode that puts Luke at the center of the conflict.
Red Hulk, Deadpool, And Wolverine
As episode 8 drew to a close, Jen told the audience that a plot-twist was coming. She wasn’t sure if it would be the introduction of a red Hulk or if she’d be getting frigid, two clear references to other Marvel projects.
Red-Hulkis a character from the comics, who appeared as his human-half Thaddeus Ross in earlier MCU phases. Ross played a big part in the Thunderbolts comic storyline, which fans now know will be coming to theaters in 2024 as part of the MCU’s Phase 5.

The reference to fridging could have been a nod to what happened to Vanessa inDeadpool 2, which seems likely since Nikki flexed her makeup-brush Wolverine claws immediately afterwards. Wolverine will be returning inMarvel’sDeadpool 3, so all signs point to Wade Wilson.
Intelligencia
Intelligencia caused major trouble at Jen’s gala in the final moments of the episode, trying to expose and embarrass her in front of her family, friends, and colleagues. She entered a justified rage shortly afterwards, Hulk-smashing her way through the TV screens before getting to the bad guys.
This was the first time Jen went full Hulk and completely lost her self-control, mirroring the wayBruce Banner’s Hulkacted in the early days of the MCU. Just before the episode ended, Jen looked into the camera and appeared to regain some of her composure, making it clear that She-Hulk still has more control over her actions than Hulk ever did.

Make sure to catch theShe-Hulkfinale next Thursday on Disney Plus.
