Valheimbrings players an expansive world that they can manipulate almost at will. Unfortunately, while this world gives players this freedom, it is also full of intense creatures that will attack players on sight. Despite this struggle,Valheimplayers continue to put out impressive clips showing off their intricate builds. In the latest example of this, one player showed off their navigating skills by drifting a longship underneath a wooden bridge.

Valheimwas released in 2021and brought players to a weird world inspired by Norse mythology and Viking culture. On top of this game being a survival title, it also features a building mechanic through which players have to gather materials such as wood and stone to create structures.

This post comes from u/CLANKbass, and it is an oddly satisfying clip that anyValheimplayer can enjoy. In this post the player is at the helm of a Longship (one ofthe sailing options inValheim) and is quickly approaching an elaborate wooden bridge they made that spans across a river. They quickly turn the wheel to the left and adjust the sails as the ship drifts to the right. As the vessel slides underneath the bridge and u/CLANKbass turns back to the right, the memorable title track created by Teriyaki Boyz fromThe Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Driftplays. The Longship just fits underneath and through this impressively tall bridge and glides out to the other side, unharmed. The whole clip shows off this player’s impressive ability to drift this large vessel through tight spots on the game’s seas and rivers.

There are a number of requirements for players looking to match this video clip. First off, the Longship requires players to craft 100 Iron nails, 10 Deer hide, 40 Fine wood, and 40 Ancient bark. This is quite the expensive vessel and requires players to advance toValheim’s Swamp biome. Other than that, the bridge requires players to harvest quite a lot of regular wood and add in sufficient structural support.

There arequite a few biomes inValheimto get to know, and this variety helps encourage players to explore and establish multiple bases. On top of this variety, metal can’t be teleported in this game and that feature also encourages players to get familiar with transporting supplies across the oceans and rivers in the game.

While these systems and features encourage players to explore the world, they can be frustrating for those looking to make some of the more complex weapons andarmor sets inValheim. Regardless of how players feel about having to transport things manually, this clip should be impressive to anyone familiar with the game.
