A newGenshin Impactleak has revealed more information about Kaveh, who is expected to become part of the playable roster in one of the upcoming updates. Kaveh was first introduced during one of the Story Quests in Version 3.2 as Alhaitham’s troublesome roommate.
In contrast to Alhaitham’s rational thinking, Kaveh is always led by emotion, and he always operates by what he feels to be right.Genshin Impact’s lore also confirmed that Kaveh is the creator of the famous Palace of Alcazarzaray, which is one of the most iconic landmarks in the recently introduced Sumeru region.

Over the last couple of weeks, a number of credible leakers have revealed more details about Kaveh as a playable character. He will be a new Dendro character, which makes sense since he’s tied with the Sumeru region. Kaveh will also use the claymore as his primary weapon, making him the first Dendro user with this weapon type.RecentGenshin Impactleakshave revealed more information about this unique character who will apparently join the playable roster sooner than many players expected. According to a new leak on theGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddit, Kaveh will arrive in version 3.6.
Another leak posted on a Chinese online forum known as Baidu Tieba claims that Kaveh will have a four-star rarity which means that players will be able to increase his constellation levels fairly easily. There is still no credible information about his role within a team comp as leakers seem to be divided between main DPS or support position. Many fans hope that he will be a supportive character as players usually tend to avoid using a four-star unit for themain DPS in theirGenshin Impactparty.
Kaveh won’t be the only character to arrive in this update as previous leaks revealed thatGenshin ImpactVersion 3.6will finally introduce the long-awaited Dendro user Baizhu, who is expected to have a five-star rarity. This means that Kaveh and Baizhu could be placed on the same Limited Character Banner which would allow players to acquire both characters by wishing on the same banner.
Baizhu was the first character with a Dendro Vision to appear in the game during Archon Chapter 1, which led many players to believe that he will be the first Dendro user inGenshin Impact. However, HoYoverse decided to delay his release, perhaps because he is fromthe popular Liyue region.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
