Resident Evil 4remains one of the most popular and influential games in theResident Evilseries, with it still hailed as one of the best video games ever made. Needless to say, manyResident Evilfans have fond memories ofRE4, and that extends to its cast of characters. Ashley Graham is one of the stars ofResident Evil 4, memorable for her trademark cheesyResident Evildialogue and for hiding in bizarre locations.
Ashley Graham is the president’s daughter during the events ofResident Evil 4, but she winds up missing in Europe. Leon S. Kennedy is dispatched to save her, and spends much of the game protecting her from the Ganados and the rest ofResident Evil 4’s terrifying band of enemies. Leon can tell Ashley to hide and even outfit her with a heavy suit of armor that makes her basically invulnerable. There are other outfitsResident Evil 4fans can unlock for Ashley, but her most recognizable look is her default appearance from when players first encounter her in the game.

Cosplayer KitCat_22 recently brought Ashley’s default look to life with her impressiveResident Evil 4cosplay. Kit_Cat22’s Ashley cosplay is very accurate to the game, sporting Ashley’s signature orange sweater, brown belt, and plaid skirt. The only thing missing from the cosplay is the brown sweatshirt that Ashley usually has tied around her neck.
This isn’t the firstResident Evilcharacter that KitCat_22 has brought to life with cosplay. She has cosplayed as many ofResident Evil’s other female characters, including Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield, Sherry Birkin, and more.
Resident Evilis known for having strong female characters, though Ashley herself seemingly goes against that, finding herself in more of a stereotypical “damsel in distress” role. There is a briefperiod of time inResident Evil 4where players play as Ashley, though she is depicted as being basically helpless against the game’s monsters. This makes sense with her character since she is supposed to be a normal civilian instead of a specially-trained combatant like most of the other female characters in theResident Evilseries, but it will still be interesting to see if that will be changed in the remake.
For the uninitiated, legitimate leaks have outed theexistence of aResident Evil 4remake gamein development at Capcom. At the time of this writing, theResident Evil 4remake has not been officially announced and so nothing else is known about it. It’s possible it will be a straight remake that simply improves the graphics and controls ofRE4to meet modern standards, but it’s also possible that the game will be making major changes to the experience. It’s not expected to launch for some time, so fans will have to standby for more information.
Resident Evil 4is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and numerous legacy platforms.
