Most notably this time around is the promise of a new story-orientated group: The Wolfguard Squad. The latestSix Siegeexpansion will be the latest chapter in the ongoing story surrounding the game’s world and characters, and considering where the game is heading, players may be in for a treat.
8It’s An Internal Team
Fans ofSix Siegewon’t have to worry about their favorite operators shifting allegiances, and becoming the villains of the game’s narrative. Wolfguard is noted for being an internal squad within the Rainbow team.
Having Wolfguard as a part of Rainbow leaves plenty of room for the developers and writers to explore what awaits Rainbow and its internal structure way beyond Year 7. With the end nowhere near insight, and the game beloved by manyold and new, only time will tell of what becomes of Wolfguard.

7Features Famous Operators
Much like the now rivaled NIGHTHAVEN, Wolfguard will feature some fan-favorite Operators on the side of Rainbow from both theAttacking and Defendingsides of the game. The list of Operators includes Doc, Twitch, Montagne, Lion, Castle, Bandit, Frost, Ying, Clash, Nomad, Melus, Thunderbird, and the brand-new Operator: Sens.

This brand-new unit, with Operators that are veterans of theSix Siegegame, will surely add new and exciting story content, and chemistry between the characters. Both in lore and cutscenes that will come out for the game as it continues on its evolution streak.
6Adds A New Attacker, Sens
The newest character to join theSix Siegefamily, Néon Ngoma Mutombo, “Sens”, is an Attacker Operator from Belgium. His character is set to release with Operation Vector Glare, and they will be a starting member alongside the new Wolfguard unit. Sens is the first confirmed non-binary Operator in the game, making them the third character for LGBTQ representation, after Flores and Osa.
Sens is described by Harry, the director of Rainbow, as “complex”, so it will be interesting to see what future awaits Sens as both an Operator, and a character in the story. They also bring a unique loadout to the game. Thus adding another chess piece to the complex and intricate board of the tactical shooter.

5Part Of Operation Vector Glare
Rainbow Six Siegeis now in Year Seven, Season Two. With this comes a new expansion is known as Operation: Vector Glare, which is set to add new content to the game. The full extent of content is unknown, but some details are clear, such as a brand-new Operator, some new weaponry, and more story content to go through.
What Vector Glare also offers, is the inclusion of theReputation system. Although in its first phase, the Reputation system will seek to add Reverse Friendly Fire for players that try and attack their teammates. This system will include more measures against griefing by adding better report functionality, and Player Reputation. It will be interesting to see the game develop this system, alongside itsnew creative director.

4Led By Operator Doc
One of the most veteran Operators inSix Siege. Gustave “Doc” Kateb is a Defending Operator from France. He has a unique ability that no other Operator has, which is the ability to perform a specific action whilst he is downed, but not dead.

By having the new team of Wolfguard led by Doc, the team atSix Siegeis reinforcing the purpose of the squad and the contents of the unit. Doc demonstrates a great deal of empathy when it comes to human suffering. To see a character with such compassion leading a humanitarian unit will lead to some interesting developments in the story to come.
3Established By Harry “Six” Pandey
The current director of Rainbow, Harry decided that the Rainbow operating structure needed to be reorganized into something greater. This was a decision made after the defection of NIGHTHAVEN, a Private Military Company that Harry invited to join the Rainbow team. Hopefully, with the new team, Harry will providepowerful new weapons.
With the new team set to make their debut in Operation Vector Glare, players eagerly await the other three teams, to see which members will be a part of their units, and how Rainbow’s potential restructuring, could further strengthen the teams as a whole, or begin their downfall.

2Created In Response To Nighthaven
NIGHTHAVEN was PMC founded by the Attacking Operator Kali and was introduced in the expansion Operation Shifting Tides. Their allegiance was to their global contracts, as their infamy as a squad gave them much leverage in negotiating multi-million-dollar contracts.
After the Argus super tanker incident, Harry decided that NIGHTHAVEN should have a squad at Rainbow, much to Ash’s dismay. Later, NIGHTHAVEN defected from Rainbow, taking some of the team’s Operators with them. This led to the creation of Wolfguard.

1A Humanitarian Military Unit
Wolfguard is perhaps the game’s most unique squad and a task force to be introduced intoSix Siege so far. What makes Wolfguard so interesting, isn’t just the diversity of their Operators in their unit, or the internal structure of their team, but the task at hand itself.
Wolfguard is a Humanitarian Military Unit. This means that Wolfguard is set to prioritize the safety and wellbeing of civilians and human lives. Wolfguard will undertake missions in which collateral damage is strictly off the table. This could lead to some interesting story dynamics, in which they have no room for error when civilian lives are on the line.

Rainbow Six Siegeis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
