The latest trailer forPokemon ScarletandVioletacts as a general overview for the games, beginning by showing the start of the player’s journey at a school in the Paldea region. This is quite the different start from the usualPokemonformula, but it doesn’t mean the player will have to spend their time in a school simulator for long, as soon into the trailer fans are sent off on an extracurricular activity to find their own treasure.
As shown in the trailer, these treasures can be discovered by following the three paths ofPokemon ScarletandViolet’sstory. First, there’s the Victory Road path, which acts as the more traditionalPokemonjourney, where the player must become the champion by defeating gym leaders. Then, there’s Starfall Street, which pits trainers up againstPokemon ScarletandViolet’sTeam Star. Finally, there’s the Path of Legends, which involves a hunt for unique Pokemon scattered throughout Paldea.
Following the showcase of the three paths, there is some more footage of the new Pokemon inScarletandViolet, but nothing new is revealed here. All of these Pokemon, such as Paldean Wooper and Wiglett, have been revealed in previous trailers.
