Ahead of the release of the first DLC forPokemon Scarlet and Violet, The Teal Mask, a leak of the full list of new and returning Pokemon that will appear in Kitakami was posted on social media. The roster leak then made the rounds with otherPokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers, just over a week before The Teal Mask launches.

As the release date of The Teal Mask drew closer, The Pokemon Company posted videos of some new and returning Pokemon that will arrive as part of the DLC, includinga new Convergent Pokemon called Poltchageistthat shares a similar name to Polteageist but is an entirely different Pokemon species altogether, similar to how Toedscool is different from Tentacool. The Teal Mask is just the first part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, with The Indigo Disk slated for a Winter 2023 release.

However, leakers on social media have been able to get their hands on thefull roster of Pokemon that will make their appearance in The Teal Mask. The DLC will launch on Wednesday, September 13. According to this newleak for The Teal Mask, some Pokemon such as a new regional form of Ursaluna and Poltchageist’s evolution will make theirPokemonseries debut. However, the leaked roster also includes Pokemon from past regions such as the Bellsprout, Jangmo-o, and Vulpix lines. Plus, some Pokemon such as Annihilape and the Pikachu line that are also available in the basePokemon Scarlet and Violetgames will make appearances in The Teal Mask DLC in some capacity.
But, allPokemon Scarlet and Violetleaks are to be taken with a grain of salt until the full release of The Teal Mask in the coming days. With over 100 new and returning Pokemon coming to the ninth generation, andan unexpected graphical update forPokemon Scarlet and Violet, the first half of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero is already shaping up to be packed with features.
But, The Teal Mask is far from the only opportunity for past Pokemon to appear. With The Indigo Disk only a few months away, it remains to be seen how manymore Pokemon will return toPokemon Scarlet and Violetonce The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero is fully released.
