This moment comes from u/pucas_16 and it is quite an odd sight to see. Their clip starts off with this player attempting to catchthe Hisuian form of Growlithe inPokemon Legends: Arceuswhen a Beautifly attacks them. U/pucas_16 dodges this attack and rolls away, only to realize the Growlithe has begun chasing after them. Almost to act as a reset of the encounter, this player then begins to fly away from the area, keeping their camera on the confused Growlithe. As they begin to circle back and regroup, this Hisuian Growlithe runs right off of the nearby cliff. Instead of falling off, however, this Pokemon runs as though there is an invisible path, and it continues out into the open. All the while, u/pucas_16 looks on completely confused.
This player jokingly mentions in the post that this must be a fire and flying type version of this Pokemon, and it looks just like that. This moment must bea glitch in whichPokemon Legends: Arceusbelieves that the actual ground extends well past the cliff. It is unclear if players could walk out there or if this was just a one-time moment.
Hisuian Growlithe has featured in trailers forPokemon Legends: Arceusand has brought up strong opinions from thePokemoncommunity. This is all down to the addition of Rock to its traditional Fire type status. This makes this specific form of Growlithe incredibly susceptible to water and ground attacks, and therefore unlikely to survive past a single round if the opposing Pokemon has either in their arsenal.
Then again, the addition of Rock type to this Pokemon doesn’t have to be a disaster. Players can adjust their team and avoid matchingtheir Hisuian Growlithe fromPokemon Legends: Arceusagainst any opposing Pokemon with those attacks. Either way, this player found a completely unique version of this Pokemon that can seemingly fly.
