The Community Day event offers a huge increase in Machop spawns and an increased opportunity to obtain a shiny version of the powerful little Fighting-type. The Special Research is obviously completely optional, but trainers who do opt to participate will be in for a pretty standard array of Community Day tasks. Keep in mind that the Special Research should be completed during the Community Day event. Considering the increased spawns of Machop this afternoon, it should be very easy to power through the steps of this challenge with plenty of time to spare. None of the tasks require any particularly difficult strategy, so the only real commitment here is the purchase of the ticket and the time it will take to complete the list of tasks.
