Summary Zombies and video games tend to go together like peanut butter and jelly, as illustrated by the onslaught of games wrought by the undead. It’s no surprise why, given the typical zombie traits, which make for suitably creepy enemy fodder. There aremany entertaining romps centered around these sauntering, brain-eating foes, which allow trigger-happy players to slay zombies by the hundreds and even thousands. Yet, there does seem to be lots of unrealized potential when it comes to games featuringplayable zombies....

The Rito Village may not have a lot going on inside its spire and holds easily one of the shortest Divine Beast main quests that players can complete, but what it lacks in the main storyline it makes up for withside quests. Bungie is changing up quite a lot of things forDestiny 2’sWitch QueenDLC, but dedicated players will remember that the game will also be hosting its Season 16 content alongside the expansion. Developer blogs have, so far, been showing how the game’s meta might change with the new season, with the latest reveal being that of two “new” weapons being added to the Nightfall loot pool. WithDestiny 2being such a huge game, it only makes sense for Bungie to try and expand it by providing players as much content as possible every Season. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Bungie was forced to delay the release ofThe Witch Queenexpansionby a few months, now launching it in February 2022....

Destiny 2seems to have had a very successful launch of its newWitch Queenexpansion, and alongside said DLC, Bungie has also released the game’s 16th round of seasonal content: Season of the Risen. Destiny 2’s Operation: Seraph’s Shield has been out for several days and has received positive feedback from the community at large. Tied to Season of the Seraph,Operation: Seraph’s Shieldis an Exotic quest that builds upon the weekly story featured this Season. The reward for finishing the quest, the Exotic pulse rifle Revision Zero, has set a new high for the game. With that in mind, Operation: Seraph’s Shield should also set the benchmark for Seasonal quests in the future....

It’s been over six months sinceDiablo 4was officially announced, and speculation is running high for Blizzard’s next action-RPG. While there hasn’t been much info released so far, there are plenty of classic features that are sure to return inDiablo 4. Procedurally generated dungeons and loot-focused character building have been confirmed, as well as new open-world and player vs. player systems. Three of the game’s playable classes have also been revealed: the Barbarian, Sorceress, and Druid....

In a few more months,Digimon Survivewill finally be out. This visual novel-cross-tactical RPG has been suffering delays for years, but it finally has a global release date that is fast approaching. Even if itshares a release date withXenoblade Chronicles 3,Digimonfans everywhere are looking forward to finally closing the door on this chapter of the franchise’s gaming side. Sporting traditional visual novel elements infused with survival tropes, multiple story paths, and a tactical grid-based combat system that promises to deliver serious endgame challenges, there’s a lot to look forward to....
