The newestOverwatch 2support hero has been the subject of many impressive plays within the community, with many players usuallyutilizing Lifeweaver’s kit to counter their opponents' abilities.As a support,Lifeweaver heals his alliesusing Healing Blossom and Tree of Life, and he also shields them using Life Grip while pulling them toward him. He also has an ability called Petal Platform, which spawns a lotus-shaped platform that springs upward when Lifeweaver or any hero steps on it. He posted a 15-second Twitter clip that showed him in a 1v1 fight with an enemy Orisa, who was attempting to approach the first capture point to force an overtime. But Fitzy placed a Petal Platform in the doorway, which sprung upward when he and Orisa stepped on it. The latter’s awkward position and the fact that they couldn’t get off the platform probably surprised them as Fitzy shot them and clutched out a win for his team. The video ended with the streamer laughing, seemingly satisfied with the trick he’d done.
In the replies, manyOverwatch 2fans were impressed by Fitzy’s Lifeweaver play, and laughing at how “evil” the platform trick was. One said the Twitter clip has compelled them to try out the support hero in their next game.
