InOne PieceEpisode 1091, fans learned the true identity of the woman claiming to be Dr. Vegapunk. It was confirmed that she was Lilith, who embodied Vegapunk’s evil side.Out of all the Straw Hats, Franky was the most excited, as he shared a lot of similarities with Vegapunk. While he was trying to show his admiration for the scientist, Lilith was busycalling the Sea Beast Weapons, as she wanted to rob the pirates. But before she could do anything reckless, she received a call from Shaka. This particular individual advised against robbing the Straw Hat Pirates, as it was an Emperor’s crew.
All this information did not deter Lilith; instead, it drove her on and increased her desire to claim all their treasure. Shaka told her that she had been underestimating the pirates. He pointed out how Zoro and Robin were on the ship, and they were ready to strike down Lilith. She admitted that she had dropped her guard, and it was too big of a risk. Shaka also told Lilith to bring them in, as he was interested in them.
Luffy Explores The Island
Elsewhere, Luffy, Jimbei, Chopper, and Bonney were exploring the island. Jimbei asked Bonney why she had traveled alone all the way to Egghead Island, to which she responded that she had some business with Vegapunk. Bonney told them that Vegapunk had turned her father into a cyborg. She became quite emotional while talking about her dad, and there were tears in her eyes.
As the four climbed up, they reached a different part of the island, which was filled with all kinds of futuristic buildings. There was a hologram of a parfait, which drew the attention of Luffy, Chopper, and Bonney. The trio tried to eat it, but they simply passed through it. After a while, a giant girl appeared in front of them, who was later revealed to be Atlas,another satellite of Vegapunk.
She punched Luffy toward the cooking machine. Soon, Bonney, Chopper, and Luffy began to use the machine to make all kinds of dishes for themselves. The trio was way too happy with their discovery, and they made sure to try different combinations to satisfy their hunger.
Release Date
One PieceEpisode 1092 will be released on June 24, 2025.It is titled “Bonney’s Lamentation! Darkness Lurking on the Future Island”. The episode will primarily focus on Luffy’s group as they explore the island. From the preview, it seems that Luffy and the others will try to test out the different scientific gadgets scattered across the island. While they are busy having fun, a cyborgthat looks like Bartholomew Kumaappears. Luffy tries to fight and stop him from harming anyone, but Bonney intervenes. She reveals that she is somehow related to Kuma. The preview forOne PieceEpisode 1092 did not divulge how Bonney and Kuma are linked. However, the complete details will be revealed once the episode is released.
Keeping in mind Bonney’s previous statement about how her father was turned into a mindless cyborg, it is rather simple to figure out what happened in the past. Bonney is most likely the daughter of Bartholomew Kuma, and everyone knows that Vegapunk turned the former Shichibukai into a weapon. Due to this reason, Bonney bears a grudge against Vegapunk and wants to find out why the scientist did what he did.
Vegapunk is a man of science, and he doesn’t seem like a person who would make a decision without some reason. For now, Bonney hasn’t seen the actual body of Vegapunk, so the latter is safe. But as soon as she finds him, there is no telling what she will do. There is a very small chance Vegapunk’s main body will make an appearance in Episode 1092. So fans will have to wait longer.
In the previous episode, Shaka stated his desire to meet with the Straw Hats. It is unclear what exactly he wants from them, but it seems like it is going to be a massive favor. Judging from his words, it doesn’t seem that he is going to force them to help him out.One PieceEpisode 1092 will definitely shed some more light on his demand.
