One PieceEpisode 1076 brought an end to the fight between Luffy and Kaido, the biggest one in the series to date. Both fighters were amazed by the prowess of one another, and they gave it their all. Luffy had already lost to Kaido multiple times, but the young pirate did not let it get to his head. Every time Luffy got up, he became better at dealing with Kaido’s attacks. At one point, it seemed that the Supernova would win by hammering Kaido with his Gear 4 attacks. However, Guernica decided to step in and distract Luffy, paving the way for yet another victory for Kaido.
When the Azure Dragon descended from the rooftop, all the members of the alliance immediately knew that they were in trouble. But there was another twist in the story as Luffy subconsciously awakened the true power of his Devil Fruit.Luffy called it Gear 5, and this transformation changed the tide of battle completely. He manhandled Kaido, and there was very little that the Yonko could do against the power. However, Luffy’s inability to maintain Gear 5 for a long period of time meant that he had to end the fight quickly. Both Kaido and Luffy had the same realization, and they unleashed their final attacks.
InOne PieceEpisode 1076, Kaido’s Rising Dragon: Flame Bagua clashed with Luffy’s Bajrang Gun. The heat emanating from Kaido’s giant flame dragon did inconvenience Luffy, but the latter was too determined to give up. The impact of the two attacks was enormous, and it overshadowedevery fight on Onigashima. While Kaido’s move was powerful in its own right, it couldn’t overpower Luffy’s Bajrang Gun. As a result, Luffy won the fight and defeated the “Strongest Creature in the World.”

Release Date
One Piece Episode 1077 will be released on July 29, 2025. It is titled, “The Curtain Falls! The Winner, Straw Hat Luffy!”. The episode will cover the aftermath of Luffy’s victory over Kaido. The young pirate fought tirelessly to keep his promise to his friends and liberate Wano. With Kaido gone, theremnants of the Beasts Pirateswon’t be able to cause any kind of problems for the alliance. Most of them have been defeated, and the others have lost their will to fight.
One PieceEpisode 1077 will also reveal the fate of Kaido and Big Mom. The two Yonko were defeated in the arc, but it would be foolish to assume that they died in the process. Oda is not known for killing off characters, even if they do not have any role to play in the arc. So, it is plausible to assume that Big Mom and Kaido may still be alive.
Another thing that fans can expect from the episode is the reveal of the winner of Luffy vs. Kaido. Most people are still unaware of the fact that Kaido has been defeated once and for all. So his tyrannical rule in Wano has come to an end. When the people of Wano find out the result, they will indubitably be excited and relieved that their days of suffering are over.
However, the biggest question is: who will be the new Shogun of Wano? At one point, the obvious choice was Hiyori, as she was physically older than her brother. But that changed when Shinobu used her powers to age Momonosuke, who should be a grown-up now.
