Koei Tecmo recently revealedDynasty Warriors Mas a mobile spinoff of the franchise, based on its newest entry inDynasty Warriors 9. The mobile version will see Koei Tecmo collaborating with popular mobile game developer Nexon, combining the franchise’s traditional hack-and-slash combat with city management gameplay.Dynasty Warriors Mwill include microtransactions for in-game items, though it appears the game will notfeature a gacha systemsimilar to others likeGenshin Impact. The game has already received a soft launch in some southeast Asian regions with a worldwide release to come later.

The mobileDynasty Warriorsgame comes as the long-running franchise has continued to branch out into new areas.
