Inferno Sac is an advanced crafting material that only appears later inMonster Hunter World’sprogression tree. It’s a key component for crafting fire-based equipment, and Hunters are going to need a lot of it if they want to make complete sets of their preferred weapons and armor.
Like other crafting materialsinMonster Hunter World, Inferno Sacs can be obtained relatively frequently if players know which monsters to target. You’ll need to do a lot of hunting to get Inferno Sacs, so gear up and get ready for a lot of trouble.

Where to Get Inferno Sacs
As its name suggests, Inferno Sacs can be obtained from fire-based monsters, but these will only becomeavailable inHigh Rankmissions. These can’t be carved from dead monsters, so your best bet to get the most Inferno Sacs per run is to capture a target instead. Monsters that drop this high rank crafting material are:
Inferno Sacs are typically given asquest rewards, which means Expeditions should be ruled out when farming for these. Either farm an HR mission ordo some investigation queststargeting the monsters listed above. Pick whichever monster you’re the most comfortable fighting against, then get to grinding.

Out of all the monsters above, wehighly recommend farming the Anjanathif Inferno Sacs are your only concern. These lumbering dinosaurs may hit hard, but they’re fairly slow and are much easier to deal with compared to the others. They aren’t poisonous like the Rathalos and Rathian, and they’re slightly less annoying to fight than the Uragaan and Lavasioth. The Anjanath armor set also has decent skills for gunners and Charge Blade users, which could make this monster worth fighting multiple times.
Once you reach 7-star HR missions, you can farm theRed and Blue CrewOptional Quest for a better chance of getting Inferno Sacs. This quest will have you hunting a normal and Azure Rathalos in the Ancient Forest. These monsters can be tricky to fight at first, especially with a melee weapon, butif you bring enough Flashbugsor make liberal use of your Slinger, then you should be able to take them down relatively easily. Make sure to bring a weapon with the Dragon element — the Azure Rathalos has different elemental weaknesses compared to the normal one, but they’re both weak to Dragon damage. We only recommend this quest if you’re also planning on crafting Rathalos equipment.
