Much like any other pre-release piece of content, Trails and Tails will be available in beta form for the time being, meaning its full-fledged launch is still some ways out.

The pre-release candidate includes all the major new features and content that are coming as part of the Trails and Tales update, but Mojang still needs to fix many big bugs and optimize things in the backend. This means that, though the pre-release build is a fine way to check out new content in-game, players should primarily use it to report bugs and issues to the developers.
