For the past 5 years,The Witcher 3has offered fans a large fantasy world to escape to. A new announcement from McFarlane Toys will allow fans to bring a little bit ofThe Witcher’sworld into the real world, though, as the company is releasing a 12-inch figure of Geralt of Rivia later this year.
The figure features Geralt posing in his Kaer Morhen armor and holding up monster heads, a classic pose for the monster slayer. His armor appears well-detailed based on early product photos, and while his face looks a tad bit off, overall it looks like a promising statue for fans of the fantasy series, or even those simply looking for something cool to put on their shelf.

Unlike certainWitcher 3statues, Mcfarlane’s isn’t prohibitively expensive either, clocking in at a suggested retail price of $39.99. Unfortunately, the statue isn’t available quite yet, though it will be releasing this November, with pre-orders opening up in October. The statue will be available through retailers worldwide, so it should be fairly easy to find whenever it releases, depending on the available supply.
Additionally, smaller articulated figures are slated to release next year, so those looking to create their own scenes fromThe Witcher 3,or anyone with limited space, will have options suited to their wants. Of course, that comes with the longer wait, but it’s a fair tradeoff depending on one’s needs.
The Witcher 3has sold millions of copies, becoming one of the best-selling games of all time. It makes sense that new collectibles are being released for it this long after launch, especially as fans of CD Projekt RED,The Witcher’sdeveloper, wait for the launch ofCyberpunk 2077,the studio’s next game.
It also helps thatNetflix’sWitcherserieshas been wildly popular, though it’s based on the books, not the game series. Between the show and the games,The Witcher’ssuccess has reached new heights, and while there’s no telling if CD Projekt RED will makeThe Witcher 4,the influx of new fans may push the franchise to even greater heights.
WithNetflix’sWitcherSeason 2being made, fans still have plenty of the franchise to see in the coming months. Not everyone will want a massive statue of Geralt with a bundle of heads, thoughThe Witcher 3superfans just might have a new set-piece to talk about in the coming months. For now, they’ll just have to keep exploring the game.
The Witcher 3is available now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
