SinceMarvel Snapoffers players so many cards to choose from, players must decide which cards are best suited to work together in order for a deck to work to ensure a player’s victory. With just over 200 cards inMarvel Snap, there are a ton of different combinations, though some are more niche than others.
Taskmaster is a great card for players to use inMarvel Snap.Taskmaster is a 5-cost with 0-power, but his On Reveal ability states that his power is equal to the last card that the player had played. When paired with certain other cards in the game, Taskmaster can prove to be a powerhouse.
10Typhoid Mary
Typhoid Mary is a card that players can obtain in pool 3 during their journey through the game’s collection level system. Typhoid Mary is a 4-cost card with 10-power, but she hasthe Ongoing abilitythat gives all friendly cards 1 less power.

At first, this can seem hindering to a deck, but with strategic use, this card can be great. With Taskmaster in hand, players can use Typhoid Mary, and then play Taskmaster immediately after. Because of his On Reveal ability, Taskmaster will have 10-power, which is wonderful for a 5-cost card, and easy too.
9She-Hulk
She-Hulk is one of the newest cards thatMarvel Snaphas released, and a great one. She-Hulk is a pool 4 card that players can obtain. This card initially costs 6-energy, butfor each energy unspent the last turn, She-Hulk’s cost goes down by one.
This means that players can either skip a turn, or not use a lot of energy during a turn in order to play She-Hulk earlier on in the game. If done right, players can get this 10-power card out early, and then Taskmaster can be played afterward to gain 10-power for himself.
8Abomination
Abomination is one of the first cards that beginners inMarvel Snapwill start off with in their first deck. This card is a great card for players to start off with, as it has 9-power and costs 5-energy. Abomination doesn’t have any abilities, but is still a great card since it has so much power. In fact, it even rivals many 6-cost cards.
This card is great to use with Patriot, and can also be of strategic use to Taskmaster. Abomination can be played toprovide a location 9-power, and then Taskmaster can gain 9-power to use for the same or another location.
7Death
Death isn’t just one of the best destruction cards to use inMarvel Snap, but also one of the best pool 3 cards that players can obtain. Death is initially a 9-cost card with 12-power. At first, that seems unreasonable, but her ability states thatfor every card destroyed by the player, her cost goes down by one.
Like She-Hulk, Death can be played earlier in the game if strategized right. With the right moves, players can get Death out there earlier in a game, and then Taskmaster can be played to gain 12-power: the power of Hulk!
6Red Skull
The villainous Red Skull is seemingly an all-or-nothing type of card. Red Skull is a 5-cost card with an incredible value of 15-power, buthis Ongoing abilitystates thatenemy cards at his location have 2 more power.

It’s definitely one of those niche cards in the virtual card game, but Red Skull isa great allyto Taskmaster. Red Skull can be played onto a location, favorable or not, and then Taskmaster can be played in order to gain 15-power and dominate a location. These two can be explosive.
5Aero
Aero is another one of thegreatest pool 3 cardsthat players can collect while leveling-up their collection levels in the cards game by upgrading their cards. Aero is a 5-cost card with 8-power. Though impressive enough, Aero also has the On Reveal ability thatallows her to move all enemy cards played that turn to her location.
On her own, she is a great strategic card, but with Taskmaster, the potency of the player’s strategy can be even greater. Aero can be played to disrupt the enemy, and then Taskmaster can be played to provide 8-power.
4Black Bolt
Black Bolt is one of the best 5-cost cards inMarvel Snap, as he has a high power value and a good ability. Black Bolt is a 5-cost card with 8-power. This card also has the On Reveal ability todiscard the lowest-cost card in the opponent’s hand.
Just like Aero, this card is a great disruptive card to use, and is great in play with Taskmaster. Black Bolt can be played to simply provide power while taking out a card in the opponent’s hand, and then Taskmaster can be played to gain 8-power to provide to a location.
3Sentry
Sentry is one of the best cards in the game, especially when it comes totaking over the left locationinMarvel Snap. Sentry is a 4-cost card with a great 8-power. His ability states that hecan’t be played onto the right location, and that an -8-power Void card will be added to the right location.
With many strategies, the downside to this card won’t even matter. This card is one of the best cards to use with Taskmaster, as it will provide a location with great power at 4-energy, and then Taskmaster can be played after him to provide 8-power as well.
2Gamora
Gamora is one of the best Guardians of the Galaxy cards that players can use, andbeginners are able to obtainthe card before even getting into pool 1 by claiming it in the recruit season. Gamora is a 5-cost card with 7-power.
Though already powerful enough, Gamora has the On Reveal ability that states thatif the opponent played a card at Gamora’s location in the same turn, Gamora gains 5-power.This turns her into a 12-power card. Either way, with Taskmaster played, he can either provide 7 or 12-power.
1Black Panther
Black Panther was recently obtainable for players during the Black Panther-dedicated season in November, and is a great card for On Reveal decks. Black Panther is a 5-cost card with 4-power, and his On Reveal ability allows him to double his power.(He’s great with Wong.)
Black Panther is one of the best cards when allied with Taskmaster. He can be strategically played to double-up to a lot of power, and then the player can play Taskmaster to gain whatever power that Black Panther ended up with.
