The fight againstRhino and Scorpion is one such battle inMarvel’s Spider-Man, as users are encouraged to make full of the tools available to them to overcome this challenge. Fans will also fight Vulture and Electro simultaneously, and these encounters highlight the cinematic nature of its battle system. Now, one player manages to defeat Scorpion in bizarre fashion, as they knock him into a nearby body of water.

A Reddit user named TablePrinterDoor has shared apicture fromMarvel’s Spider-Manconfirming that they managed to knock Scorpion into the water, prematurely taking him out of the battle. The player mentions thatMarvel’s Spider-Mancontinued like normal after they defeated Rhino, before asking other fans if they were meant to beat Scorpion in this fashion. TablePrinterDoor confirms that the post-battle cutscene played like usual, making it seem like Scorpion teleported out of the water at the end of the fight.
TablePrinterDoor claims to have used air combos to send Scorpion flying out of the area, before stating that they were playing thePC version ofMarvel’s Spider-Man. It looks like TablePrinterDoor may have encountered a glitch inMarvel’s Spider-Man, as many users state that they got incredibly lucky. Another player claims to have defeated Scorpion the same way, with some other fans stating that it’s also possible for Rhino to run over Scorpion.
Many people in the comments make note of how scorpions cannot swim, humorously mentioning the level of realism present inMarvel’s Spider-Man. One fan has also shared a neat trick for defeating Scorpion, stating that players can get Rhino to hit him with a boulder, instantly taking him out of the fight. Overall, users seem to agree that TablePrinterDoor encountered a luckyglitch inMarvel’s Spider-Man, so they had one less enemy to worry about for the duration of this boss fight.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2comes out later this year on PlayStation 5, and it will probably feature a few boss fights against multiple foes like the original game.
