The latestpatch forMarvel’s Avengersis outand addresses some major game-breaking bugs that players have experienced in the game, but according to several player’s experiences, the patch may have made some additional changes to the loot rewards as well.

In several Reddit posts made on theMarvel’s Avengerssubreddit, players have noticed that missions that would normally provide higher tiered loot are in fact dropping lower rewards, specifically regarding legendary and pattern drops on the higher difficulty missions.

WhileMarvel’s Avengersstill has quite a few bugs relating to lootbeing ironed out, the amount of cases this has occurred could hint at developer Crystal Dynamics making some significant changes to the reward system. It’s worth noting that the latest patch notes do not state such a change has been applied, however. Crystal Dynamics has outlined plans for future patches and what they will address so it’s possible, if this indeed a bug, that the developer does patch it out, hopefully sooner than later.

As for the game’s future DLC, Crystal Dynamics hinted atBlack Panther’s eventual addition toMarvel’s Avengersby revealing the character’s icon during the latestMarvel’s AvengersWar Table during which the developer held a moment of silence to honor the passing Chadwick Boseman. It was revealed that more details were to follow regarding Black Panther’s addition but were cut from the livestream out of respect to the passing of the actor.

Recently a bizarre glitch accidentally unlocked anew skin for a player playing as The Hulk. The story was picked up by@Marvel_Cloudon Twitter, who later shared the player’s experience on social media. The particular skin aged the Hulk pretty significantly, giving the Avenger white hair, a white beard, and torn red pants hinting at the possibility of seasonal skins being added to the game. While this particular Hulk skin is Christmas themed, it’s possible that Crystal Dynamics will be adding themed skins for every major holiday and celebration for players to purchase or unlock through each characters hero card.

Meanwhile,Crystal Dynamics is currently hiring for multiple positions at the studio. Current open positions include a lead multiplayer systems designer, an online services engineer, and a live operations producer among other positions available. While this could be a new IP all-together, its worth noting that in 2017, Square Enix signed a multi-game deal with Marvel, so the possibility of it being a new title in the series or hinting at a new expansion forMarvel’s Avengersis high.
