There is no doubt that 2023 is going to be great, but there might be some sad news for specific fan groups. As with every year, there is a chance that some of the manga series might come to an end. Certain authors have already provided a time frame, but it is entirely possible for the manga to end sooner or even at a later date. With that in mind, here are some manga that might end in 2023.

But it is not possible to have a manga that never ends. If not because of the story, a mangaka must bring down the curtain at some point for their own health. 2023 is halfway done, and many famous manga have already wrapped up their stories. However, there are still some titles that will reach their conclusion later in the year.
7Tengu Hunter Brothers
Tengu Hunter Brothersis an action-packed manga series written by Shinta Harekawa. At the center of the story is a boy named Mamoru Yamaemori, who takes it upon himself to fight creatures known as Tengu. These beings roam the mountains and devour humans, making travel unsafe.
Fortunately, Mamoru Yamaemori is not alone in his fight. He is joined by his two brothers, who try their best to back him up. The trio fights the malevolent beings in an attempt to protect the people in the mountains.Tengu Hunter Brothersis expected to conclude in September.
6My Home Hero
My Home Hero’sanime adaptation helped bring the incredible story of Tetsuo Tosu to the anime community. The anime was produced by Tezuka Production, and it earned generally favorable reviews from the audience. It prompted many people to start reading the manga.

My Home Heromanga has been written by Naoki Yamakawa. It began serializing in 2017, and it has been a part of the Weekly Young Magazine ever since. With the manga coming to an end, fans will be hoping that the second season of the anime is announced soon.

My Hero Academiais one of the most popular anime series. Over the years, it has amassed a huge fan following, which is reflected in its sales. The mangahas sold over 50 million copies, and this number will only continue to increase.
Currently, the manga is in its Final War Arc, which, as the name suggests, is the last major war arc in the series. Kohei Horikoshi has stated that he feels that he cannot keep drawing the characters for a long time. All these things point to a possible end for the manga in 2023.
4Jujutsu Kaisen
Following an excellent first season,Jujutsu Kaisenquickly became a sensation. The anime was followed by a movie that earned enough to becomethe seventh highest-grossing anime movieof all time. After such a resounding success, the manga also came into the spotlight, resulting in a rapid increase in its sales. At the Jump Festa ‘23, it was confirmed that the second season of the anime will release in July 2023.

Despite its success, Gege Akutami is not looking to extend the story unnecessarily. In his most recent interview, he claimed that he wanted to end the manga within a year. Provided there are no interruptions, theJujutsu Kaisenmanga looks set to end in 2023.

Noragamihas been created by Adachitoka, a duo of talented mangaka. Adachitoka is made up of Adachi and Tokashiki, who previously worked under Motohiro Kato. Adachitoka started working onNoragamiin December 2010, and since then it has been serialized inKodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine.

In the July 2022 issue of the magazine, it was confirmed by Adachitoka that the manga is in its final arc. Fans will be hoping thatNoragamicontinues beyond 2023. However, considering the series is in its final arc, there is a chance that it might end in 2023.
2Seraph of the End
Seraph of the Endisan extremely popular manga series, and it has sold over 10 million copies. It has inspired an anime adaptation, several light novels, and video games as well. In the 26th volume of the manga, Takaya Kagami (the writer of the series) announced thatSeraph of the Endwould reach its conclusion very soon.
The news isn’t surprising, as the series has been ongoing for more than a decade. While Kagami has stated the manga will be ending, he hasn’t provided a proper time frame. If there are no unexpected breaks,Seraph of the Endcould reach its much-awaited end in 2023.
1Berserk
Berserk’sinclusion on the list might raise some eyebrows, as Kouji Mori, Miura’s best friend, confirmed that he would bring the manga to its conclusion. ManyBerserkfans have oddly complained about the manga’s continuation, as they don’t want the series to be finished by anyone other than Miura.
However, this is not the reason why the manga is on the list. The real reason is that, while Mori and Miura’s team have done a fantastic job, it seems that they still cannot release chapters consistently.BerserkChapter 371 came out in December 2022, and it was the first time since Mori took over that there was no mention of the release date of the next chapter. So, it is possible they might drop the manga completely, or they just want more time to work on the chapters. If that’s the case,thenBerserkwon’t return.
