One of the reasons whyLollipop Chainsawis a cult classic is its premise, born from the collaborative efforts of esteemedGrasshopper Manufacturegame director Suda51 and Hollywood film director James Gunn. InLollipop Chainsaw, 18-year-old cheerleader Juliet Starling sees her high school being attacked by waves of zombies. Players then use Juliet’s chainsaw and combat prowess to mow down the undead, looking to save the world before her birthday celebration. While Juliet is most recognizable in her San Romero Knights cheerleader uniform, players can also wear a number of different alternate costumes. Many of these outfits will be in the remaster, according to Yasuda.

Inthe originalLollipop Chainsaw, these costumes can be unlocked by purchasing them through an in-game store, which can then be worn by selecting Juliet’s closet in the main menu.
