The success of Disney’s streaming service, Disney+, started strong with the release ofThe Mandalorianin 2019, but viewers saw the need for additional new content even back then. It’s been more than a year since the launch of the service, and now in 2021, Disney has finally begun rolling out the exciting and long-awaited shows fans have been asking for.

Most of the shows and movies coming to Disney+ are catering to the fans of theStar WarsandMarvelfranchises. Those fans have known that most of these shows were on the way, and they are eager to finally see what is coming next for their favorite characters and stories.
10Loki
Loki, set for release in May, follows the events ofAvengers: Endgamewhen a Loki from an alternate timeline stole the Tesseract, disappeared into another timeline, and began manipulating human history. For his actions, Loki is located by the Time Variance Authority (TVA), a secret organization that has unknown plans forthe god of mischief.
Tom Hiddleston returns to reprise his role as the show’s titular character. Owen Wilson has also been cast as a TVA agent named Mobius M. Mobius. It is unknown how big Wilson’s role in the show will be.

9The Falcon And The Winter Soldier
The Falcon and the Winter Soldieris another show thatfollows the events ofEndgame. After Steve Rodgers passed the leadership role onto his friend Sam Wilson (aka the Falcon), Sam tries to figure out his purpose as the replacement for the long-time hero. At the same time, Sam must team up with the Winter Soldier to find and stop the Flag-Smashers anarchist group.
Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Shaw return to reprise their roles as the Falcon and the Winter Soldier respectfully. Additionally, Daniel Brühl is set to return as the villain Zemo, and Emily Vancamp will return as Sharon Carter.The Falcon and the Winter Soldierwill arrive on Disney+ on March 19.

8The Book of Boba Fett
With his escape from the Sarlaac pit now part of the officialStar Warscanon, Boba Fett is slated to star in his own series that follows after his adventures inTheMandalorian. Disney has not revealed much in regard to the series plot, but the popular theory is thatthe notorious bounty hunterwill try to restore his status in the criminal underworld and take his rightful place at the top of Jabba the Hutt’s almost-toppled syndicate.

As of now, the only confirmed characters set to appear are Boba Fett, who will again be portrayed by Temuera Morrison, and Fennec Shand, who is played by Ming-Na Wen. More cast members are expected to be revealed in the coming months as the show’s December release window draws near.
7What If…?
What If…?is an animated series that will explore alternate storylines for the films in theMarvel Cinematic Universe(MCU). Each episode will be a self-contained story that explores a single key part of certain films and what the outcome would have been if events had unfolded in different ways.
Scheduled for a mid-2021 release,What If…?will star Jeffrey Wright as the Watcher, an alien who observes the entirety of the multiverse. Cast members from the MCU films, such as Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Ruffalo, and Karen Gillan are set to return in guest roles.

Star Wars: The Bad Batchis a spinoff of theStar Wars: The Clone WarsTV series. The series will follow the exploits of five clones with “desirable mutations” as they adapt to life after the rise of the Galatic Empire.
Dee Bradley Baker will reprise his role as the voice for every clone in the series, with a focus being placed on theshow’s five main characters: Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair, Hunter, and Echo. Ming-Na Wen is also set to voice a younger version of Fennec Shand. Beyond being slated for 2021,The Bad Batchdoes not have a set schedule date yet.

5Hawkeye
Another show that follows afterEndgame,Hawkeyefocuses on the life of Clint Barton, the original Hawkeye, after the defeat of Thanos. Looking to both retire from his role and keep his family safe, Clint begins to trainKate Bishop to be the new Hawkeye.
Jeremy Renner returns to again take on the role of the first Hawkeye, Clint Barton. Paired with him is Hailee Steinfield, who was the voice actor for Spider-Gwen inSpider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. She will be playing the new-t0-the-MCU character, Kate Bishop.Hawkeyeis expected to arrive on Disney’s streaming service in late 2021.

4Ms. Marvel
Differing from the other Marvel series announced for Disney+,Ms. Marvelis about a hero that is new to the MCU. From what Disney has revealed so far,Ms. Marvelwill tell the story of a teenaged girl named Kamala Khan who gains amazing shapeshifting powers. She then uses those powersto become a herowhile also learning who she is as a teen beginning her transition into adulthood.

Ms. Marvel will be played by Iman Vellani. This will also be Iman’s first major role in cinema. Similar to many other shows announced,Ms. Marvelis currently slated to release in late 2021.
3The Mysterious Benedict Society
The Mysterious Benedict Societyis one of a handful of shows being added to Diseny+ that is based on a new source material rather than being connected to an established franchise. Its story revolves around a group of orphans who are equipped with unique skills. These orphans are recruited by the owner of a boarding school called The Institute to help prevent a plot that could jeopardize the entire world.
The cast is comprised of actors with a long history in televised and animated roles. These include people such as Tony Hale, who played Forky inToy Story 4, and Kristen Schaal, who played Mabel inGravity Falls.The Mysterious Benedict Societyis planned for release in 2021.

2Turner & Hooch
Turner & Hoochis a reboot of the 1989 film of the same name. The show’s story will focus on a U.S. Marshall named Scott Turner, who begrudgingly becomes the recipient and owner of a dog named Hooch. After some time together, they both learn that each is the partner that the other needs.
The will star Josh Peck, ofDrake & Joshfame, as Scott Turner. It will also feature Lyndsy Fonseca as Laura Turner, Scott’s sister and the one who brings Hooch to him. All that is known for the show’s release is that will arrive in 2021.

1The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers
Set to serve as a sort of follow-up to the originalThe Mighty Ducksfilm,Game Changerstells the story of a new generation of players looking for a spot on the Mighty Ducks team. When a boy named Evan is cut from the team, his mother prompts him to form his own team with the help of the original coach of the Mighty Ducks.
The show will star Lauren Graham as Alex, Evan’s mother, and Emilio Estevez, who returns toreprise his role as Gordon Bombayfrom the original film. Evan will be played Brady Noon.The Mighty Ducks: Game Changerswill arrive on Disney+ on March 26.
