Yakuzahas a habit of introducing some of theweirdest substories in the game, and everyone loves them. Out of the numerous substories inInfinite Wealth,Substory 14 ranks quite high on the weird list and also has a puzzle that some people might find it hard to solve.
Where To Find Tanabe
In the 14th Substory titled “Neck-Deep In Love,” on your way to the West side ofAloha Beach, you will come across a girl namedHamabehiding behind some surfboards. you may approach herto start the Substory, where she will get startled byIchibanand will explain that she has to give a Love Letter to her classmate, but her clothes are dirty, so she is not able to. Your task will be to findTanabe, who is apparently neck-deep in the sand with her friends. However, when approaching the area, Ichiban will find dozens of people neck-deep in the sand, so finding Tanabe can be tricky.
The first thing you will have to do is go to every person with a dialogue option to learn more about Tanabe. Every person will give you a bit of information that will allow you to pinpoint Tanabe’s locations among the numerous heads.
After the information part is done, you will have to pinpoint which of the heads is Tanabe. As Hamabe provided you with an image of Tanabe, you have a clue of how he looks. He has short hair and wears glasses. When looking on the left side of heads, you will be able to see three possible heads, and the left-most option below another interactable person is Tanabe. At the end of the Substory, Hamabe will give theCourage Pendantbefore leaving.
What Happens If You Pick The Wrong Person?
Even though you can have a view of every person before finalizing your answer, there is a chance that you pick the wrong person,which will be a mistake. If you happen to do this then Hamabe will approach you and fall when finding out that the person is not Tanabe. She will ask you to find Tanabe this time while she washes the mud off her clothes.
Ichiban will now have to select from the neck-deep heads again. However, this time around, the heads will be shuffled, meaning that you will have to ask around for information again and then pick the person who looks like the description Hamabe gave.
