In his tweet, he expressed that Kick is implementing additional measures to combat view count manipulation and address issues related to follows and chatbots. Eddie emphasized that the primary problem being addressed is “Tabbing” and the abuse associated with it. To enhance the user experience,Twitchrival Kick has also included additional safeguards and eliminated unnecessary exposure to gambling-related content. Eddie also mentioned that they are introducing a feature allowing viewers to toggle off certain categories they do not wish to be exposed to.
Following up on his previous announcement, Eddie later provided an update to therapidly growing Kick community, stating that they had successfully implemented all the aforementioned changes in the past 48 hours. These changes included improved “viewer count protection”, resolution of “tabbing issues”, “advanced chat bot protection”, and the “disabling of gambling and hot tub streams.” Lastly, Eddie assured the community that they are continuously working on further optimizing these changes to provide an even better user experience.
