For how much strain and difficulty Sakurai has had to face in terms of directing and developing theSuper Smash Bros.series, the franchise is still very important to him. The amount ofpraise and support Sakurai has received from the communityhas been staggering, so for a lot of people, the fact that Sakurai won’t be posting these images anymore is quite saddening.

It’s amazing how much Sakurai has contributed to the gaming industry as a whole. This is largely owed to how dedicated Sakurai is to not justSuper Smash Bros.,but video games in general. Considering thatMasahiro Sakurai owns both an Xbox Series Xand a PS5 goes to show the level of love and commitment he has for the gaming industry outside the sphere he occupies.

In any case, it will be interesting to see what the future holds forSuper Smash Bros.going forward.
