PlayStation exclusive gameSackboy: A Big Adventureappears to be jumping ship to PC in the near future.Sackboy: A Big Adventurefirst launched for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in November 2020 as a PS5 launch title. It didn’t earn quite the same level of critical acclaim as the main games in theLittleBigPlanetseries, but it was still praised as a fun co-op platformer. Now it seems more gamers will be able to check it out, as evidence has continued piling up thatSackboy: A Big Adventureis coming to PC.

Gamers first got wind of apotentialSackboyPC portlast year when it was leaked by SteamDB. Then this past summer, more evidence of aSackboyPC port leaked online. The latest update throws more fuel on the fire, as SteamDB has updated theSackboyicon and added achievements. PlayStation has made a concerted effort to bring its exclusive games to PC in recent years, though not before PlayStation consoles have had them for quite some time. The most recent PlayStation exclusive to come to PC wasSpider-Man Remasteredfrom Insomniac Games, and the next PC port isUncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, which is set to drop for PC on October 19.

There’s no solid release date for theSackboyPC port, but sinceUnchartedis coming in October, one would think thatSackboywould come at some point after that. Perhaps Sony will release theSackboyPC port before the year is out, or maybe PC gamers will have to wait until next year to play the game. The potential PC port has not even been announced at the time of this writing, and so platformer fans on PC should keep that in mind before getting too excited.

With Sony bringing its big exclusives to PC, there’s little reason to doubt thatSackboywon’t be making the transition eventually, it’s just a matter of when. This coming November would mark two years sinceSackboy: A Big Adventureoriginally launched, and so it seems like it would be a prime opportunity to drop the PC port, but fans shouldn’t hold their breath. For now, anyone interested in the game will have to check it out on PS4 or PS5.
