Gamers should be able to notice the impressive graphics ofRatchet and Clank: Rift Apartin any of its gameplay demos or trailers. Aside from better particle effects and more detail, the game also features a 60 FPS mode and a performance mode with ray-tracing capabilities.

As forRatchet and Clank: Rift Apart’s DualSense use, the game will take full advantage of haptic feedback. Its adaptive triggers are also impressive, with the buttons used to give certain weapons two firing modes. For example, players using the burst pistol can press halfway to fire single shots, while holding the trigger down fully will make the gun automatic.

The double-barreled Enforcer shotgun fires one or both barrels depending on how hard the trigger is pushed, making it another fine example of the feature in action. While PS4 users hoping the game would launch on last-gen consoles may be a bit bummed, it is hard not to be excited about howRatchet and Clank: Rift Apartis using the PS5 to its fullest.
