Wuthering Waveshas an ample number of quests and rewards for players to choose from. Most of the quests are fairly easy to access, but some are hidden. The latter examples don’t always give players enough clues to work on and can sometimes be difficult to complete. On top of that,Wuthering Wavesloves to incorporate riddles into its story, so most of the clues need to be read with a different meaning.
There is a side quest called Lost History that can be triggered after talking to theJunior Engineernear theOverwatch Camp. She will lead you to a broken lighthouse and ask for help with fixing it. This is somewhat like a tutorial as the Junior Engineer will tell you how to fix it and read the signs to find the buried treasure in the area. The navigation will then send you to the historian in Jinzhou who will commission the Rover to find the other 4 lighthouses. Unfortunately, there is no navigation to point Rovers in the direction of the other lighthouses. So, follow this guide to find each location and the hidden treasures that come with it.
Lighthouse Location 1 – Overwatch Camp
As mentioned earlier, the first Lighthouse can be found in theCamp Overwatchsub-region. It will be a couple of hundred meters ahead of theResonance Beacon.The only way to trigger the quest is by talking to the Junior Engineer at the foot of the hill and following her back up to the Lighthouse.
Lighthouse Location 2 – Tiderise Cliff
Next, head to theResonance Beacon at Tiderise Cliffto find the second Lighthouse. Since the Lighthouse is abandoned, you will have toreconnect the power linesto have it functioning again. There are twobattery packsin the vicinity, so just use theLevitator toolto pick them up and place them inside the power cell. Once done, head up the Lighthouse and hack the system.
You’ll then have a small riddle to solve once the story is done playing. Just turn your viewslightly toward your right, andyou’llspot a glowing light on the ground. Glide down and investigate it to dig up a chest that you can claim.
Lighthouse Location 3 – Nameless Bay
Lighthouse number 3 can be found near the sub-regionShattered Blocks. There will be some ruins and anInfrastructure Division Memberthat you need to talk to before unlocking the lighthouse. There’s a small challenge that you will have to complete here once you insert the battery into the power cell.
You need to follow the red line andhit/attack all the structuresit shows you in the correct order. The line will turn blue once activated; so verify to hurry before the time runs out. You can then climb the warehouse and hack into the system to hear the riddle. You’ll be able to find another glowing light right behind you on the ground. Glide down to investigate it and you’ll receive another chest.
Lighthouse Location 4 – Frosting Harbour
The next Lighthouse location can be found at the edge of the cliff near Frosting Harbour. Just teleport to that region and head straight on the map. The building will be covered in thorns and players will need to pick up the firebomb to theleftof them. You can use theLevitator gadgethere as well, and aim the bomb to hit the lighthouse. Remember not to get too close as the item will return to its original place.

Once the thorns have been cleared, head up the lighthouse and hack into the system again. After the riddle ends, you will need toadjust your time to 6.00 AM inWuthering Wavesto be able to see theglowing spot again. It will be behind you near the bridge, so just glide on over when you spot it. You’ll be able to once again claim another chest.
Lighthouse Location 5 – Dim Forest
The final lighthouse is inDim Forestand a little way off the map. It stands on the edge of a cliff and is covered in thorns. The bombs closest to it are also covered in thorns, so you will need to use the available bombsouth of the lighthouse. It islocated near a tree. Throw that bomb onto the nearest bush of thorns. This will unlock theBomb 2.Bomb 2 can be used to unlock Bomb 3. This is because there is a certain distance each Bomb can travel.
Finally, use Bomb 3 and aim it at the lighthouse to remove the thorns. Then, hack into the system and after the riddle is complete, glide behind the lighthousetowards the Tacet Discordyou see. Theglowing spot will be next to it as well. Just investigate it again to receive the chest.
Talk To The Historian At Jinzhou
