The version of Hyrule inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomcontains several different climates. to fully explore it, Link must find ways to handle these extreme temperatures however he can. There are few areas that have extremely hot temperatures, though Link can use that to his advantage.
When worn, the Ember armor set inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomallows Link to deal fire attacks while in hot temperatures. While this armor can be used in hot temperatures, it does not shield Link from receiving damage and he will have to wearother armoror eat food to beat the heat. This guide will help players find all three pieces of the Ember armor set.

How to Get the Ember Headdress in Tears of the Kingdom
TheEmber Headdresscan be found in theYunoboCo HQ South Cavenorth of Goron City and southeast of YunoboCo HQ. Players will need to wear at least one piece from theFlamebreaker armor setto walk throughout the cave without receiving damage from the extreme heat.
After defeating two Horriblins, players should throw aBomb Floweror use a rock hammer to destroy the rock wall. There will be an unfinished vehicle waiting that requires the player to attach the other two wheels with Ultrahand.
After finishing the vehicle, players should bring it into the main room and place it in the lava to drive it to the other side. The treasure chest containing theEmber Headdresswill be there.
How to Get the Ember Shirt in Tears of the Kingdom
TheEmber Shirtis located inside theGoronbi River Cavesouthwest of Goron City, and where the Goronbi River and Golow River meet. The entrance to the cave is near and below the YunoboCo Mineral Market.
Players should be sure to take out the enemies nearby because they will have to fight a Horriblin upon entering. They’ll also need to wear at least one piece from the Flamebreaker armor set to safely explore this cave.
The cave will feature a flowing river of lava with rock platforms traveling down it. Players should use Ultrahand to grab one and attach another platform to it to create a small bridge. They can then use this to go to the right and up the lava river.
After using the makeshift bridge to cross the lava, players will need to fight a Like Like that shoots fireballs. Once this has been defeated, they can use the makeshift bridge as a raft to travel down the river to the right of the Like Like.
Players should hop off on the right side past the low cave and climb the wall into the raised opening to find the treasure chest containing theEmber Shirt. Opening the chest will also reveal a hidden room with a riddle transcribed on a stone, which relates to one of the pieces in theLink’s Awakeningarmor set.
How to Get the Ember Trousers in Tears of the Kingdom
TheEmber Trousersare located in theCephla Lake Caveon the west side of Cephla Lake, and north ofKisinona Shrineand the Foothill Stable. If possible, players should fast travel to the shrine and go behind it to find a small camp with a roaring fire below. It’s here that they will find the cave entrance.
This is a one-room cave filled with treasure chests. Most of them contain just one Rupee, so it is possible to spend time opening all of them until finding the armor piece.
However, the real treasure chest with theEmber Trousersis the chest lodged in the ground towards the center-left of the cave. Players should use Ultrahand to grab and dislodge the chest to get the reward, which will then provide a clue on how to getthe Fierce Deity Sword.
