The second generation of games introduced a third new form for the seahorse duo calledKingdra, a dual Water/Dragon-type.
Evolving Seadra intoKingdratakes a couple of steps, so in this guide, we’ll show how to do it.

How to Get Horsea and Seadra
Before you’re able to evolve Seadra into Kingdra, you’ll need to get one first. Luckily, Horsea and Seadra are pretty easy to find in the wild (and they have the same habitat). Just look in the Coastal, Canyon, and Polar biomes. We managed to find a bunch of them on the northern end of the map between the border of the Coastal and Polar areas.
Horsea will evolve into Seadra once it reaches level 32.
How to Evolve Seadra into Kingdra in The Indigo Disk (Seadra and Kingdra Trade Code)
The only way toevolve Seadra into Kingdra is by trading with another player while the Pokemon holds the Dragon Scaleitem. This means you must connect online and find somebody willing to help you. Luckily, the Pokemon community hasdeveloped some trade codesto help players find other players trying to get a specific Pokemon.
The trade code for Seadra holding a Dragon Scale is 2054-2054.

Where to Find a Dragon Scale in The Indigo Disk DLC
you may try to use theItem Printer at Blueberry Academy to get your hands on a Dragon Scale, but there’s a location you can also go to in the Coastal Biome to get one without any hassle. If you walk north/northeast from the Coastal Rest Area, you’ll eventually reach a white bridge that leads to the Coastal Plaza. Before walking over the bridge, look to the left to find a sparkling Poke Ball on the floor. This is a Dragon Scale.
You can also buy a Dragon Scale at the Blueberry Academy School Store, which costs 250 BP.
